Substantial savings are available for extended stays and a number of great accommodation/meal packages are available Woodlands is an adults only resort, there are no facilities for children. Accommodation includes three double bedrooms and a two bedroom unit. Woodlands B & B nestles in a hillside of trees. The property will surprise first time guests with its more gracious style of bed & breakfast accommodation. The magnificent landscaped garden extends over 1 acre and presents a magical outlook from the house. The house itself is a large solid 7 bedroom property built thirty years ago for comfort and space. The beautiful timber panelling, the softest carpets and the elegant furnishing create a relaxing ambience and the perfect conditions for a perfect stay. Less than 6 minutes to the centre of town, Woodlands is convenient to all the local attractions. Spend some time around the property. Check out the garden, relax beside the pool or under some trees, try the swing. Read a book, magazine or newspaper from the bookcase. Watch one of the videos or listen to a CDs. Then get to know the area. Take a drive and check the beaches, walk one of the coastal walks. Follow a hinterland self drive tour, see South West Rocks and other nearby towns. If it's a 4WD, take a drive along some quiet beaches or offroad in the ranges. Borrow the bikes and have a look around town. Borrow the golf clubs and have a game at one of the 4 local courses. Borrow the tennis rackets and have a game at the local court. You could even borrow a bodyboard and catch a wave. For lunch or dinner, cook something on the BBQ or visit one of Port Macquarie's top restaurants as recommended by Woodlands. | Getting There |
Driving north on Pacific Highway, take Oxley Highway turnoff to Port Macquarie. At the Fernhill Road roundabout, 8 kms from the Pacific Highway, go around and return on the other side of the divided road back towards the Pacific Highway. At 200m exactly after the roundabout, turn left into the access road. A sign reads "Local Traffic Only" and it follows a green koala fence. Woodlands B & B is 450m along the access road - on the left. Driving south on Pacific Highway, take the Hastings River Drive turnoff to Port Macquarie. At the second roundabout (around 6.5 kms from Highway) turn right into Clifton Drive. Follow Clifton Drive over the ridge to the Oxley Highway and Fernhill Road roundabout. Take the Oxley Highway west in the direction of Wauchope and the Pacific Highway. At 200m exactly after the roundabout, turn left into the access road. A sign reads "Local Traffic Only" and it follows a green koala fence. Woodlands B & B is 450m along the access road - on the left. |
