Hosts Clem & Jason Cheshire welcome you to Ambassador Motor Lodge, Hervey Bay`s new Best Western lodge. The Ambassador Motor Lodge offers 21 ground and first floor units with air conditioning for those hot summer months, queen-size beds, remote controlled T.V, in-house videos, free to air and Austar T.V, direct dial phones, irons, hairdryers, free guests laundry - so you don`t get home from your holidays and have to attend to 20 loads of washing, spa and pool, as well as an in-house licensed restaurant. Ideally located on the Esplanade in front of a lovely sandy beach, Ambassador is only minutes walk from major shopping and several tourist attractions. Ambassador makes a wonderful base for exploring all of Hervey Bay and Fraser Island, because all major tour operators pick up and set down at our front door. When you stay at Ambassador your room will be large, comfortable, and furnished to the high Best Western standard. Undercover parking will protect your vehicle, and you can relax any time by the spa pool in our tropical garden. We will feed you so well in our licensed a la carte restaurante (open Mon-Thur) that you will probably never want to eat out! |

Hervey Bay is one of Australia`s natural holiday destinations with a reputation as a safe and relaxing aquatic playground. Located 300 kms north of Brisbane and 37 kms east of Maryborough, the central city district of Hervey Bay stretches from Gatakers Bay to River Heads, taking in the coastal resorts of Point Vernon, Pialba, Scarness, Torquay, and Urangan. Ambassador Motor Lodge is directly opposite the beach in the Pialba resort. Ambassador Motor Lodge is situated only 200m from the centre of town, so everything you need is within short walking distance. Buses and taxis service the city, and limousine transfers are available. The local Hervey Bay airport is 4 km away, offering scenic flights to and over Fraser Island, whale watching (in season), or a trip to Brisbane in 45 minutes. The closest international airport is in Brisbane, about three and a half hours drive from Hervey Bay. |
