Our newly renovated restaurant & bar - MADISON'S - has recently re-opened with award-winning food and great service opened 7 days!! Travelling to Goulburn from Sydney: The following ports join the M5 Woolloomooloo, King George's Rd, Fairfield Rd, Moorebank Ave travel south to Goulburn via Hume highway 201 kms from Sydney CBD. Leave the Hume highway at the first Goulburn exit and travel 1 km to Sydney road, Goulburn Heritage Lodge located on left hand side before McDonalds. Travelling from Canberra / Melbourne: Travel along Hume highway until you come to the 2nd Goulburn exit travel approx 1km to Sydney road, Goulburn Heritage Lodge located on left hand side before McDonalds. Regular coaches and trains run to Goulburn several times a day. |

-Australia's Oldest Brewery and Bed & Breakfast Accommodation -Goulburn Historic Waterworks Museum is the only steam-driven municipal water supply in the southern hemisphere still in its original location & in working order. Come and see Goulburn's original 1883 steam beam engine and take the opportunity to have a picnic on the banks of the Wollondilly River. While you are there enjoy: * Tours of the Pumphouse Museum * 120 year old Appleby Bros. Beam Engine and Hick Hargreaves Corliss Valve Engine under steam. * Pumphouse Cafe for your lunch, morning or afternoon tea. * Bring your own picnic by the river * Childrens' Playground * Trout fishing on Marsden Weir between October and June long weekends. Entry is by donation. Located on the Marsden Weir, off Fitzroy Street Golburn. -Goulburn War Memorial Museum and Lookout is situated on Rocky Hill and was built in 1925. The Rocky Hill lookout gives unparallel views of Goulburn and the surrounds, and has a lookout gallery and war memorial. The lookout is open 7 days a week from 7am-5pm. The War Memorial and Museum are open Saturdays and Sundays and both public and school holidays from 11am-3pm. The War Memorial and Museum are located on Memorial Drive Goulburn. -The Big Merino Complex This complex of facilities is centred around the "World's Biggest Merino", - a 3 storey structure of concrete and steel measuring 15.2 metres high, 18 metres long and weighing in at 97 tonnes. This unique "big" attraction is just a 2 minute drive off the freeway, and stands proud as a symbol of Goulburn - "the Fine Wool Capital of the World". * On the ground floor there is a gift shop specialising in quality wool products and uniquely Australian items. * The first floor comprises an entertaining and educational static display featuring the history of wool and the wool industry. * The top floor hosts a lookout through the sheep's eyes over the city of Goulburn. -Hidden in the Southern Highlands of NSW these spectacular limestone caves offer you an experience of timeless beauty and splendour. -Wakefield Park Motor Racing |
