Located in the majestic Mary River National Park Wetlands of the Northern Territory, Wildman Wilderness Lodge is an unforgettable experience, its teeming wildlife and unique tours a world far removed from your own, yet with all the modern comforts of great accommodation, delicious meals utilising local produce and a fabulous wine and beer selection to enjoy at the end of each day.

In 2011 Wildman was awarded Best New Tourism Development at the Northern Territory Tourism Awards. Committed to conservation, Wildman is the ultimate 'recycled resort', and how it came into being is a story on an epic scale. When Wrotham Park (located 300kms west of Cairns) closed in 2009, its infrastructure was dismantled, loaded onto 18 triple road trains and transported 2800kms across Australia. Once unloaded in their new setting on the Mary River Wetlands (with 15 premium Safari Tents added), the buildings formed a new site of sophisticated accommodation: The unique Wildman Wilderness Lodge.

Just a short distance from Darwin and within proximity to the World Heritage listed Kakadu National Park, rare ad venture is at your doorstep, with a diverse and exciting range of tours on offer. From cruising the Mary River (and spotting a crocodile or two along the way) to exploring Kakadu's Aboriginal heritage, every moment is remarkable. Special interests such as fishing, walking, and photography are also catered for, with tours easily arranged to best suit your needs.

And when the time comes to relax, the main lodge is yours to enjoy with a restaurant, bar, lounge, and swimming pool making it perfect for families, couples, special events and meetings. Wildman Wilderness Lodge comprises of a central lodge, 10 air conditioned cabins ('Habitats') and 15 Safari Tents. Both Options feature an ensuite bathroom and stylish finishes to create accommodation with a touch of luxury in an awe-inspiring environment.

Showcasing the best seasonal produce Australia has to offer, Wildman's delicious array of food and beverages are matched only by the stunning views. For all-day adventures, a picnic lunch makes the perfect take-away.

Wildman Wilderness Lodge's unique location offers the opportunity to create a memorable and different event for your business or gathering of friends and family. Whether you are seeking a location for a corporate meeting, a team bonding weekend or a picturesque location for a wedding or celebration Wildman has a variety of options to inspire. The main Lodge has a purpose-built meeting room which can be configured to accommodate between 20 and 40 people for a meeting or private dining venue. Free wifi is available in the Lodge.

Getting There	Located approximately half way between Darwin and Kakadu, 170km by road from the Darwin City. Drive time from Darwin is less than two hours, along the sealed Arnhem Highway. Head south from Darwin on the Arnhem Highway and turn left off the highway onto the Point Stuart Road, approximately 17km past the landmark Bark Hut. Point Stuart Road has recently been sealed up to the Wildman turn off, leaving only 7km of good compacted gravel road to the Lodge. Once on Point Stuart Road, please take the second road to the left which will take you to Wildman. The first turn off is for the Rockhole and Wildman Ranger Station. Wildman Wilderness Lodge has a bush airstrip with good grass cover that caters for light aircraft or helicopters. Flying time from Darwin is approximately 30 minutes. For those who don't wish to self-drive, Wildman Wilderness Lodge offers a door to door transfer from Darwin hotels and airport. Departing Wildman at 10am on Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays, the transfer arrives into Darwin at approximately 12 noon. The return journey departs Darwin at 2pm, arriving at Wildman Wilderness Lodge at 4pm. Contact us directly for rates and availability. A minimum of two passengers is required to operate the transfer. A private sedan transfer is also available on request. The transfer provides a comfortable alternative for up to four passengers. Larger vehicles are available for more than four passengers; please contact our reservations department for an individual quote, based on your itinerary requirements.

Things To Do	It is a rare thing indeed that adventure can be found right on your doorstep. However, at Wildman Wilderness Lodge, this is a wondrous everyday occurrence, with a diverse and exciting range of tours on offer to appeal to a wide variety of tastes. Essential to the experience is crocodile spotting on the Home Billabong sunrise cruise or the half day Mary River Wetlands cruise; and a full day tour into Kakadu National Park. The following options are available to pre-book now. Note, all tours are weather/seasonal dependent and availability should be checked when booking. Home Billabong Cruise one hour AM. Enjoy a one hour cruise on our very own billabong as the sun rises over the floodplains and nature comes to life. PM: Join a late afternoon cruise and enjoy the sunset while on the water. Allow 1.5 hours. All Tours are weather/seasonal dependent and availability should be checked when booking. $55.00 per adult $35.00 per child (13 yrs and less) Mary River Rockhole Cruise Depart after breakfast at 9am by four wheel drive and head to the Mary River Rockhole via Point Stuart Rd and Rockhole Rd for a mid morning cruise on the Mary River. A great opportunity to see crocodiles, wetland birds and fantastic views across the vast Mary River floodplain. Return to Wildman at 12noon in time for a relaxing lunch. Tour duration is three hours including transfers to and from Wildman. All tours are weather/seasonal dependent and availability should be checked when booking. $95.00 per adult $60.00 per child (13 yrs and less) Full Day Kakadu Tour Depart the lodge at 8.00am and travel to Kakadu via the Old Jim Jim Rd. Sop for morning tea then travel across floodplains and billabongs. Immerse yourself in the Aboriginal history at Waradjin Cultural Centre. Stop for a sumptuous picnic lunch at Anbangbang billabong. After lunch we travel down the Kakadu Hwy before turning off road again to Ubirr. At Ubirr guests experience the oldest living culture on earth through ancient rock art and see amazing views of the Arnhem Land escarpment. This tour does NOT include National Park Entry fee ($25.00 per person). The itinerary of this tour is subject to change dependant on weather conditions and accessibility within the National Park. All Tours are weather/seasonal dependent and availability should be checked when booking. $220.00 per adult $145.00 per child (13 yrs and less) Private touring is available on request and can be tailored to suit your specific interests. Ideas for private tours include: Barramundi fishing safaris Launch into a day of fishing in of Australia's most iconic barra fishing spots at Rockhole or Shady camp with an experienced fishing guide. Full or half day. Lunch and gear provided. Advanced bookings are essential. Kakadu day tour Visit Kakadu on a day tour departing Wildman after breakfast and returning in time for dinner. Experience the world's oldest living culture through rock art and see amazing views of the Arnhem Land escarpment. During the dry season we take a trip to see one of the spectacular waterfalls and perhaps to have a swim. Note this itinerary is subject to change depending on weather conditions and accessibility within the National Park. Marrakai Track/ Litchfield National Park day tour Take a trip across the unsealed Marrakai Track for a true Australian outback trip along the way to Litchfield. Visit all the major waterfalls, enjoy a swim and see the magnetic termite fields. Gourmet picnic lunch supplied. Full day.
