| Getting There |
BY CAR. Off the M25 at J15- onto the M$ toward LONDON/HEATHROW. Go down to J3 of the M4 and come off- getting onto the A312 toward FELTHAM- Approx 3 miles on this road until you come to a large crossroads with the A224- Go straight over- up and over the hill and down onto the UXBRIDGE ROAD- approx 1 mile on this road- I am at number 1 UXBRIDGE ROAD- on the Right just before you get to the traffic lights and the HANWORTH LIBRARY. BY BUS FROM HEATHROW.- Catch the 285 bus from Heathrow airport- Get off just past The Horse & Groom pub in Hanworth. Cross over the road and walk BACK to the traffic lights where the library is. walk straight across the traffic lights and continue in a straight line until you come to the first house on the left of the main road (1 Uxbridge Road) There are 2 long white signs saying 1 UXBRIDGE ROAD either side of the driveway. The fare is £2. By Tube and Bus- Catch the Tube to HATTON CROSS- Then catch the 285 bus in the direction of KINGSTON- and get off just past the Horse & Groom pub (See above) BY TAXI. Do not catch a Heathrow Airport taxi as they will not give you a definite fee and will sometimes charge you up to £50. The local taxi company will charge you £12-£14 depending upon which terminal- and you can obtain this number from me if booking- I can arrange return journey by taxi if required. |
