The Village Family Motor Inn is set on five acres of landscaped gardens overlooking magnificent views of Launceston City and the Tamar Valley. Conveniently located only five minutes west of the city of Launceston and fifteen minutes from the airport we are also just down the road from the Silverdome and the Country Club Casino. We offer both motel style rooms and self-contained units with off street parking where kids under the age of 13 stay free. Within the peaceful surroundings of the property the majority of rooms boast panoramic views of the Tamar Valley. Enjoy our heated swimming pool, sauna and spa in an enclosed, secure environment. The games room includes a pool table, pinball and video machines and is located adjacent to the kids playground. The family friendly City Lights Restaurant overlooks the City of Launceston and offers an a la carte menu at bistro prices. We cater for weddings, special occasions and corporate functions for just over 100 people. Open 7 days the Tavern Bar proudly stocks a vast arrange of local beers. From the Airport take the major freeway towards Launceston city using the South Launceston exit. Turn right at each set of lights 3 times into Westbury road, which is marked clearly as the road to the casino. From the City - follow Wellington Street out of the city until Westbury road, which is marked clearly as the road to the casino. We are 3.5 km from the GPO. |
