Getting There Follow the main road out of Cairns, heading north. After about an hour you will reach the small town of Mossman. About 30 minutes out of Mossman you will see a sign indicating the FERRY CROSSING and directing you to Cape Tribulation. Take this turn-off to your right. Travel over the river by barge, driving your car on to the barge. The cost is currently $19 return. The ferry runs from 6am until midnight, every 10minutes.

Once you have crossed the river, you will travel downhill for about 14km to get to us. Drive through Cow Bay township, cross over Hutchinson River and past a school on your right-hand side (Alexandra Bay Primary).

About 1km past the school, you will see a large patch of lawn on your right. This is us. There is a large sign.

Follow the gravel road through the rainforest to our carpark. Walk through the rainforest, over the bridge and we will greet you at reception.
Parking All parking is off street and is free of charge.
To allow yourself to experience everything the area has to offer, we do recommend that you hire a car and drive to the lodge.
