Housed in Portarlington's original hotel, built in 1855, The ol'Duke has been lovingly transformed, combining old world charm with modern comforts. We have six light-filled, modern rooms with queen size beds, and two self-contained apartments, suitable for the family. Just a hundred metres of the shoreline of Port Phillip Bay, enjoy alfresco dining on our front deck or during the cooler months warm yourself by the open fires. Our restaurant is closed Tuesdays & Wednesdays except during January. |

Stables Apartment
The renovated apartments are housed in our old stables building. They are semi-self contained and suitable for families. They are an open plan with a queen bed on a mezzanine level. Two extra guests can be accommodated on a sofa bed. Rates are for 4 people. Extra adults $25.00. Extra children $25.00. The room caters for a maximum of 6 adults, and a maximum of 4 children but cannot exceed 6 guests in total. The following bedding is provided:

An hour and a half drive from Melbourne,30 minutes from Geelong. The ol'Duke is on the main steet coming into Portarlington at the very start of the shopping strip, on the corner of Harding and Newcombe Streets (Newcombe being the main street). |

Car parking is available at the rear of the building and is off-street. Access is via Harding Street. |
| Things To Do |
Ideally situated a hundred metres from the Bay, the local pier is the ideal spot to throw in a line. Just five minutes down the road visit the local wineries of Scotchman's Hill, Bellarine Estate and Kilgour Winery. Visit the Tuckberry Berry Farm. |
