Purpose built with your comfort in mind, we have 3 beautifully themed guest rooms offering everything you need, and where a mix of modern design and old fashioned service go hand in hand. We take pride in offering a relaxing atmosphere for people who just want to get away for a night or two, but we also offer a special range of PACKAGE WEEKENDS....something to suite everybody. Lynne is an excellent chef offering a sumptuous feast of gourmet eating for the discerning diner. Superb three course breakfasts are included in the room price and served in the breakfast room or alfresco by the pool. But Lynne is best known for her wonderful evening meals, anything from a single course to her special crystal and silver service dinner with a diverse choice of menu for an evening to remember. Bribie Island is the unspoiled "jewel of the sea", just 50 mins north of Brisbane it is a sub tropical holiday paradise offering total relaxation. Endless kilometres of long white sandy beaches for swimming, crystal clear waters for boating and fishing, excellent bike riding, bush walking and golfing facilities. | Getting There |
Bribie Island is 50 minutes north of Brisbane International airport and city. By train from Brisbane Central Station to Caboolture, catch the Bribie Island train link bus straight to the island. Total trip takes about one and a half hours. Cost approx $15.00 By car travel north on the Bruce Highway following signs for the the Sunshine Coast. Take the Bribie Island exit, and follow Bribie Island Road. On the Island take the first exit at the second roundabout (Sunderland Drive) following signs for Banksia Beach. After approx 3km turn right into Avon Avenue, Avon Lodge is at the very end of Avon Avenue just before the Golf Course on the right (number 132). |
