Distance from airport: Alice Springs Domestic Airport 15km (approximately 20 minutes driving time). Shuttle bus availability: Airport shuttle service available at $10.00 per person, one way. By air: Daily services to Alice Springs from all capital cities by Qantas. Private charters are also available. Road access: The Stuart Highway is a sealed all-weather road. Greyhound coach service provides daily services from all capital cities. Closest major centre: 504 kilometres to Tennant Creek and 462 kilometres to Uluru (Ayers Rock). From Alice Springs Airport: A shuttle service, taxis and private hire cars can transport passengers to town. Crowne Plaza Alice Springs is 1.5km from the town, which is approximately 20 minutes walking time, or from $6.00 by taxi. |
