With its romantic old world charm, this venue is an alluring stay in rustic stone and timber cottages on a secluded property. For an escape like no other, whether it be a romantic interlude or a peaceful weekend away, Wagner's boasts luxury self-contained, studio, one and two bedroom stone cottages. Choose from a selection of accommodation; some with mesmerising open log fires and an unlimited wood supply, together with relaxing spas and private gardens, scattered with colourful bursts of seasonal flowers. Located half way between Hobart and Launceston and just a 40 minute drive to Coles Bay, Wagner's Cottages estate features two restored original 1850's cottages and three additional cottages. All cottages have been built in the same historic style and offer a variety of lavish, peaceful and appealing accommodation styles. The entire estate is surrounded by the original four hectare dry stone wall, constructed by the Wagner family during the 1860s and offers seclusion, perfect for a well-deserved break! Be intoxicated by Wagner's distinctive charm and romantic setting, offering captivating scenery from every angle. | Getting There |
From Hobart Wagner’s Cottages is 135 Kilometres from Hobart. Take the A3. At Sorrell, follow the signs to Swansea but not pass through the Swansea township. Wagner’s Cottages is well signed as you approach Swansea. The journey takes about one hour and 40 minutes from the Hobart city centre and about one hour and 30 minutes from the Hobart Airport. From Devonport Wagners Cottages is 214 kilometres from Devonport. Take Highway A1 heading for Launceston & Hobart. Take the B52 to Perth and then rejoin Highway A1 to Campbell Town. At Campbell Town, turn left at the sign for the B34 to Swansea and the East Coast. At the end of this road turn right at the signpost to Swansea. Drive through Swansea and “Wagner’s Cottages” is about 1.5 kilometres out of town on your left. The journey takes about two hours and 30 minutes from Devonport. From Launceston Wagner’s Cottages is 134 kilometres from Launceston. Take Highway A1 to Perth and then to Campbell Town. At Campbell Town, take the B34 to Swansea and the East Coast. Pass through the Swansea township heading toward Hobart. “Wagner’s Cottages” is about 1.5 kilometres out of town on your left. The journey takes about one hour 45 minutes from Launceston. |
