Bay Bed and Breakfast is within easy access of Lady Elliot Island, which is the most southern island of the Great Barrier Reef. The island can be reached by a scenic 35 minute flight. Lady Elliot offers incredible snorkelling and diving experiences. Visit the world heritage Fraser Island any time of the year and experience the exhilarating close up encounters with the majestic Humpback whales between July and November. Fraser Island tour & accommodation packages are available. We can arrange your tours for you, free of charge. Please speak to reception for details. Our quality bedrooms with ensuites or shared bathroom, and our self-contained suite complete with its own private lounge, bathroom and laundry will give you that extra touch of privacy. Our Menu For the early birds, a continental breakfast is served daily between the hours of 6.00am and 8.00am. Try our delicious homemade jam and local honey!! Between 6.30am and 8.30am we offer a variety of breakfasts on different days depending on the length of your stay. |

Register at the office on arrival. Our office is open until 10.00pm or later by previous arrangement. There is a bell at the entrance of the B&B for after hours check in. |

| Getting There |
Location Hervey Bay is situated just 3½ hours north of Brisbane, Queensland by road, and only 45 minutes away by air. There are regular air, coach and train services between Brisbane and Hervey Bay. Hervey Bay Airport (Fraser Coast) is only 7 minutes away, and there are flights available directly from Sydney and Brisbane. We transfer guests to and from the airport or coach terminal for a fee of $10. Guests will need to notify us before they arrive if they require the service and then phone us when they arrive at the terminal. When driving from the north or south, upon reaching the town of Maryborough, take the direction of Hervey Bay and then drive in the direction of the Fraser Coast airport. Continue on this road past a roundabout onto Elizabeth Street, drive along this street and turn left (B&B sign is here) into Cypress St. The Bay Bed and Breakfast is approximately 650 metres along Cypress St. |

Parking is free of charge. Parking area is available at the front of the B&B, off the road. There is also parking available on the road in front of the B&B. |

We are located only one street from the beach where it is safe to swim all year A variety of excellent restaurants and fine dining is available with great infrastructure. We are close to airport and bus station We can book your tours free of charge and offer packages to: *Fraser Island *Lady Elliot Island *Whale watching (July-November) Your hosts have travelled all over Australia for many years and are able to advise you on other interesting and unusual places to visit in this beautiful country. |
