Hotel City Garden Amsterdam is a warm, charming and cosy hotel situated in the centre of Amsterdam; which is also full of historical monuments. City Garden Hotel Amsterdam is located on the famous P.C. Hooftstraat shopping street, adjacent to the Vondelpark: an ideal venue for jogging or a relaxing walk. Amsterdam's canals, the historic city centre, as well as the museums and the 'Leidseplein' entertainment district with its casino, restaurants and bars are all within walking distance of the hotel. The City Garden contains 73 modern guestrooms which have a stylish interior and private bathroom facilities. Furthermore, the rooms are fully equipped with modern room facilities like an LCD flatscreen television, a radio, hairdryer, phone, coffee and tea facilities and a safe. The shuttle runs from the hotel to Schiphol Airport and the cost is only €14.50 per person and runs every 2 hours, from 06:00 in the morning. The shuttle also runs on special requests, if possible. For questions or information you are more then welcome to ask the reception of the hotel. Costs of internet: 1hour is €5.00; 5 hours: €10.00; 10 hours: €15.00. Children up to 4 years old can stay with their parents with no additional charge. A free baby cot is available on request. No extra beds are available. 5% city tax has to be paid upon arrival. |

| Getting There |
1) From Schiphol Airport: Every 20 minutes there is a train running from the airport to Amsterdam Central Station. When you arrive at the airport and you reach the central hall there is a big sign with the train information. The trains to the central station are running from 05:40 AM to 00:30 AM (go to step 2). 2) From Amsterdam Central Station: You can take tram line 2 or 5 from the square in front of the station and get off at tram stop 'Van Baerlestraat'. From there you can walk to the hotel in approximately 5 minutes. The trams in Amsterdam are normally running from 07:00 AM to 01:00 AM. |

Public parking in the street is available in front of the hotel(paid). Costs: 3.40 Euro a hour. There is also a parking garage within 5 minutes walking distance of the hotel. |

City Garden Hotel Amsterdam is situated in the centre of Amsterdam. At one side of the hotel you have the Holland Casino and the exciting nightlife that is placed around "Leidseplein", which guarantees entertainment, dining, shopping, cinemas and nightclubs. Also the ancient city centre and its canals are situated in this area. At the other side of the of the City Garden Hotel you can easily reach the "Museumplein" (Museum square). Here, like the name speaks for itself, you can find museums, theatres and concert buildings. Near the hotel you can also find the famous "Vondelpark", an ideal place to jog, walk or just sitting/lying and enjoying the sun. At the weekends you can often enjoy a free music concert and not to forget, the many street artists which you can find here. |
