At Browns, you will find a refreshing combination of old and new with its gallery lounge, choice furniture and spacious bedrooms all enveloped in atmospheric surroundings. Opened in the spring of 2001, the new contemporary design blends well with this classical building. Each of the hotel's 25 bedrooms are tastefully decorated, every room imaginatively mirroring the georgian feel of the original building. All rooms are ensuite with t.v., direct dial telephone and hair-dryers. Complimentary tea and coffee is served to our guests in the delightful Gallery Lounge. Browns Hotel features an extensive range of artist's Paddy Lennon's paintings. The spacious lounges and bright airy rooms provide the perfect backdrop to showcase his exceptional paintings. Continental breakfast is served to guests every morning in the delightful Gallery Lounge where complimentary tea and coffee is available throughout the day. |

Browns is located 14km from Dun Laoghaire Ferry Port and 10km from Dublin International Airport. Shuttles operate frequently and taxis are freely available. Furthermore, the hotel is within 5 minutes walk of Dublin's main Bus Station and Connolly train station. |

Car parking is available under two minutes walk from the hotel. However, it is subject to an extra charge: around €15 per 24 hours. |

A wide selection of bars and restaurants are available locally and guests can avail of special offers when dining at Café Carlo Italian Restaurant which is located opposite the spire on O’Connell Street, just a short walk from Browns. Browns is situated on Gardiner Street, minutes from O'Connell Street, Dublin's main thoroughfare, and a good shopping street. Browns is located under ten minutes walking distance of Grafton Street and Temple Bar, and just ten minutes from Stephens Green, The National Gallery, The Natural History Museum, and Government Buildings. It is within close proximity to all of Dublin's major theatres and many other visitor attractions. It is also located under five minute stroll from the International Financial Services Centre (IFSC), and just ten to fifteen minutes walk from Dublin's other main business districts. A series of bus tours around Dublin also embark from the vicinity of the Hotel. These are an ideal way in which to get the most of Dublin city's many varied attractions, as they have many hop on and hop off points. A huge selection of museums, galleries, theatres, and other visitor attractions are all located within ten minutes walk of the Hotel. |
