The Shaftesbury Premier LondonHyde Park has been newly refurbished as a 4* boutique hotel complete with the luxurious features that our clientele demanded. Each new room has been lovingly graced with the comfort of mood lighting, Internet access, bathrobes on request, and more. Combined with comfortably sized public areas, the Premier bar, & restaurant, which is open 6pm to 9pm serving snacks, for example: paninis and chips, sandwiches. The Hotel provides the haven in central London for both the London traveller and business people. Each room has been newly refurbished with the emphasis on comfort and relaxation. Furnishings are stylish but discreet. Beds are Standard Size Beds as well as Queen Size Beds (except twin rooms) with purpose-built reading lamps and oversized smooth headboards. By Car: The hotel is a 3 minute walk from Paddington Station, approximately 0.5 mile from Bayswater and Hyde Park. It is 10 minutes from the M40 and A40(M) and 20 minutes from the city. Close to Edgware Road, Harrow Road, Bayswater Road, and Oxford St. By Underground: There are three main stations close to the hotel: Paddington Mainline, Paddington Underground (Circle and District lines) and Lancaster Gate (central line). By Air: From Heathrow, Gatwick, Stanstead and London City Airports use either Airbus or underground to Paddington Station. The Hotel is a five minute walk from there. The Heathrow express runs from Heathrow Airport to Paddington station every 15 minutes - see www.heathrowexpress.co.uk for more details. By Rail: Paddington is a 5-10 minutes walk from the hotel and Victoria, Waterloo, Charing Cross and Euston are all within one and a half miles (2.5km) of the hotel and are about 15 minutes by public transport. |
