Kingaroy Country Motel is a member of AAA and HMAA and is a proud supporter of the local community. At 38 Knight Street we have the advantage of being within walking distance of the main shopping centre, parks, local attractions, takeaways, RSL and the Peanut Van and yet away from the hustle and bustle of the main street. We have a wide street frontage for ease of buses for your tour group. There are 20 ground floor tastefully decorated suites with undercover parking, offering a wide range of accommodation options to suit every traveller. Comfortable beds, Austar TV, DVD in family room and modern bathrooms add to your restful stay. Microwave and toasters are available on request. Laundry facilities are on the premises either for you to use or by arrangement with our staff. Your suite is serviced daily. Our split system air conditioning keeps you cool in summer and cozy in winter. You can connect your laptop and work while you watch Austar movies or you can take up a favourite book and relax by the pool. We endeavour to cater for all excitement thresholds. We offer the perfect destination for your business travel, romantic getaway, group stopover or relaxing family holiday. We are a licensed venue and our dining room offers meals for groups or operates as a conference room for business functions. Our BBQ area is in demand and the perfect place to meet friends or make new ones.In house meals are available on request. Continental breakfast or delicious full hot cooked breakfasts plus packed lunches are very popular. Tourist brochures and maps as well as crafts, snacks and toiletries are available from reception. Kingaroy is at the centre of the beautiful South Burnett region and offers a vast array of experiences for every visitor. Collect your map from reception and become an explorer and take in the fresh country air and panoramic views. For the nature lover you can follow the Great Bunya Drive and visit the beautiful Bunya Mountains. There are 35 kilometres of walking tracks ranging from 500 m leisurely stroll to a 10k hike. Various trails offer rainforest, grassland, eucalypt forest and waterfalls. Meander the local roads and byways for wonderful picturesque views of the rich agricultural farming: -Peanuts grown here since the early 1900's -Duboisia leaves are exported to German and Indian pharmaceutical companies -Paulownias’ produces a hardwood with a beautiful grain that does not warp, crack or deform easily -Dragon Fruit which is low in kilojoules and high in antioxidants and just beautiful with ice cream -Navy beans which you consume as baked beans -Gigantic sunflowers -Olive Trees for oils and soaps -Taste fresh produce at Windera Hydroponics Uncork the magic of the South Burnett wine industry and visit the various cellar door outlets at the local wineries. Take the South Burnett Wine and Food Trail or join the South Burnett Winery Tour. Discover magnificent Lake Boondooma and try your hand at catching a big bass, visit Lake Barambah and Bjelke Petersen Dam for some recreation. Visit the timber towns of Blackbutt-Benarkin and call in at Taromeo Station, Jessie's Well, Tenant's tractor museum and discover the Linville to Blackbutt Rail Trail.
