Shepparton is a two hour drive from Tullamarine airport. Take the Hume Freeway, Shepparton exit. Wyndham Street is an extension of the Goulburn Valley Highway. Country Comfort Shepparton is situated on the south side of the shopping centre, a three minute taxi ride from the station and bus stop. Trains and buses operate several times daily from Melbourne. |

Shepparton is synonymous with great food and wine. Local wineries include Monichino, Chateau Tahbilk and Mitchelton. Kids town, a two minute drive, is a unique playground with giant slides, maze, swings, tree houses and a minature railway. Emerald Bank Heritage Farm, a working farm set in the 1930s - feed the animals, hand-milk a cow, family hay rides, school house and church. Wellsprings Day Spa a short 3 minute walk is the perfect place to be pampered and to relax. Bicycle, walking, jogging tracks opposite the Parklake, through the riverlands and around the lake. Bike hire available from Aquamoves Gym, which also houses a 25 metre lap pool, steam sauna, children's pool with rapid river and water slides.
