At the northern end of Mercury Bay lies the beautiful sands of Simpson's Beach. This is where you will find On the Beach Bed & Breakfast. A large home purpose built for B & B and Gordon and Diana seek to make your stay one to remember. Our breakfasts include choice of 6 cereals, fresh seasonal fruit, eggs either poached, scrambled or boiled. Tea or coffee LaLa, award winnign coffee. Let us greet you with home cooked cakes, tea or coffee or maybe a wine or beer. Free kayaks available for guests to use.

Walk along the beach or relax on the decks of this modern well appointed home where you will be looked after by Gordon and Diana Barnaby, your hosts. Enjoy safe swimming all year round no matter what tide...

Our modern B&B offers 3 spacious guestrooms - each with their own ensuite. The rooms include a hairdryer, fridge, TV with Sky. We welcome children and have toys for all ages available.

Our breakfasts are continental with fresh fruit available plus we offer eggs either poached or boiled. Evening meals can be provided at an extra cost and with adequate notification.

We have a large screen home theatre where we often show films both local and overseas. Plus Kayaks available free for our guests to use. We are a short 6km’s from Whitianga town with its many quality restaurants.
