Approximately three and a half hours from Sydney (once the new highway is complete) Aspire Pelican H2o will become a short trip for Sydneysiders looking for private weekend retreat in paradise. By Air – it’s best to fly into Port Macquarie airport. Take the coast road and enjoy the 20minute scenic drive to lovely North Haven, or take the Pacific Highway from Port Macquarie and turn left at Kew. From Sydney: - Take the Western Distributor and onto the Pacific Highway, head north towards Port Macquarie and turn right at Kew. Lauieton is a 5 minute drive - turn off to North Haven and we are situated just over the bridge. The street address is 3-5 Bridge Street, North Haven. |

Dooragan National Park Enjoy some of the most spectacular views along the entire coast from three lookouts on top of North Brother Mountain. North Brother Mountain, at the heart of this park, relates to Aboriginal legends of the death of three brothers (including Dooragan, the youngest). There is a variety of coastal forests and rainforests, providing habitat for gliders, bats and koalas. There are many things to do and see at the park including picnicking, bushwalking, bird watching and photography. Facilities include BBQ area, picnic area, public toilets and walking trails. The Plaza Theatre The Plaza Theatre at Laurieton was built in 1959, before this date films were exhibited across the road in the School of Arts hall. Baz Luhrmann's father was the projectionist in the early 70's, and this is the point in Baz's life where he was bitten by the motion picture industry bug. Of course the rest is history. Port Macquarie Golf Club Guests of Aspire Pelican H2o are welcome at the Port Macquarie Golf Club. The relaxed natural surrounds are ideal for enjoying the range of entertainment, restaurants and testing your skill on this premier golf course. Cassegrain Winery Situated on the Pacific Highway just south of Port Macquarie on the New South Wales mid-north coast, Cassegrain Wines is a wonderful place to visit for a taste of tradition. Cassegrain’s Cellar Door is open seven days a week, from 9am to 5pm, with a complete range of wines for tasting, along with the new Wine Attic which offers a stunning range of both Australian and International wines. Camden Haven Music Festival For 14 years the Camden Haven Music Festival (CHMF) has welcomed visitors and locals to participate in one of the country’s most enjoyable regional festivals. The 2009 Festival presented performances in Laurieton, North Haven, Kendall Wauchope and Port Macquarie. We offer music in a variety of styles, dance and theatre, in a friendly atmosphere served with typical country hospitality.
