B-Ks Motor Lodge is centrally located, adjacent to Arena Manawata and an easy short walk to many restaurants and cafes and the city centre. Adjacent is the rugby museum, a must for rugby fans, Te Manawa, an interactive science centre, museum and art gallery, the restored Regent Theatre for that special show and all within a few minutes walk. Radiating from the picturesque city centre, “The Square” is a very vibrant shopping and business district with many restaurants, cafes and bars, parks and gardens including the Dugald McKenzie Rose Garden, voted one of the top five rose gardens in the world. Top quality sports facilities and many leisure facilities such as mini-golf, ten pin bowling or the indoor carts for the kids and the speedway during summer are all close by.
