Nearby public transport provides easy connection to the Venetian Villas, Treviso and Padua. Inaugurated in 1911 in a delightful early 18th century building and recently renewed, the hotel offers a sophisticated yet warm environment where attention to detail and impeccable service will surely please even the most discerning guests. On-site amenities include WiFi connectivity in each room and in all common areas, a 24-hour Internet corner, a bar and cosy lounge, dry cleaning and complimentary parking. How to Reach Us By train: The Mestre-Venezia train station, where trains arrive from major Italian and European cities, is 900 meters from Hotel al Vivit. You can reach the hotel by foot, taxi or with the direct bus towards the centre (line 2), which also runs during night hours (N1). By plane: The 'Marco Polo' airport of Venice-Tessera is 7 km away. The centre of Mestre is reachable by taxi or with the ATVO Flybus shuttle (direct to the train station). Get off at the Piazza XXVII Ottobre stop, 200 m from the hotel (service active from 6 am to midnight). By car: Once you reach the Venice-Mestre exit on highway A4, follow the signs for the city centre without worrying about the ZTL (limited traffic zone); as Hotel al Vivit customers you will be considered residents and will have free access to the centre. Suggested route for those arriving from Padua - Milan: after paying the toll, keep right in the direction of Venezia/Porto; once you reach the roundabout, pass the gas station and take the exit for Porto. Continue straight on, and turn left at the traffic light over the ramp; go straight ahead on Corso del Popolo, then Piazza XXVII Ottobre, Via Poerio and Piazza Ferretto. Follow the signs for the hotel. Suggested route for those arriving from Trieste – Udine: after paying the toll, follow the bypass and exit at Castellana; enter the roundabout, take the third exit and keeping to the right, follow the signs for the railway; turn right at the traffic light, go through the underpass and after three traffic lights turn left on Via Carducci. Continue to the end of the street and turn left on Via Olivi; take another left at the traffic light on Via Poerio, 100 m from Piazza Ferretto. With a satellite navigator, set Piazza XXVII Ottobre as the destination and follow the signs for the hotel. |

The hotel is roughly ten minutes away from Venice by public transport. Venice makes you a believer in fairy tales. Cars are banned, so the only way to get around the 1,500-year-old city is by foot or by water. From these vantage points, you'll be awed by the magical beauty.
