Baross City Hotel is stylishly appointed downtown hotel, at the top of the 3 star ranges. Situated on Baross Square, this centrally located property is just a few minutes away from Keleti International Train Station and easy to reach by rail, metro or bus. The building that gives home to the hotel itself was built at the turn of the 19th century, in the Art-nouveau style and has long functioned as an up-scale residential apartment block. The hotel occupies the top 3 floors, the rest of the building accommodates businesses and residents. The hotel has been renovated in February 2008. Whether our guests are traveling for business or pleasure, they will find the totally refurbished interior refreshing and welcoming. Our 49 rooms include singles, doubles, triples and quads. All are well appointed, with en-suite bathroom, air-conditioning, hairdryer, LCD TV, telephone, safe and mini bar. Internet access is available at the reception. Baby cot and rollaway bed is available upon request. The Serena Beauty Parlour (solarium, hairdresser, beautician) awaits our guests with professional service and pleasant atmosphere. |

The hotel is located in the centre of Budapest on the Pest side of river Danube. Red (#2) metro line station "Keleti pu." or bus #7 station "Keleti pu." Budapest airport 14 km / 8.7 miles International train station 200 m / 0.1 miles Driving instructions for those arriving by car: Follow signs for “Centrum” until you cross the river Danube via Elizabeth Bridge (Erzsebet hid – the white bridge.) This links straight on Rakoczi Street heading east. Continue East on Rakoczi street past 4 major traffic junctions (2.3 km or approx 5 minutes) Just in front of the huge, arched Keleti Railway Station, move to left lane and circle back West. Hotel is grey building on square. A few unloading spaces are located 200 m past the entrance. Hotel parking is on street behind the hotel. |
