Our 2 bedroom apartments & Executive double storey Town Houses( 2 & 3 bedroom ) have stunning water views of the Derwent River & our 1 BEDROOM SPA APARTMENT has a large bathroom with 2 person corner spa + shower, & the lounge & dining rooms open onto a sunny courtyard with your own private table setting where you can sit back, relax & enjoy a glass of wine! Apartments on Star are located within easy walking distance of Sandy Bay shopping centre, University of Tasmania, Wrest Point Casino, Historic Battery Point, Salamanca Market & the city centre. Our Apartments are modern & spacious offering privacy & space to relax. Our one, two & three bedroom apartments are fully equipped to suit all your requirements for short or long term stays whether you are traveling for work, a family holiday or a relaxing weekend away for two. Each apartment has a laundry & a fully equipped kitchen, including dishwasher, fridge & stove. The lounge/dinning rooms have TV, DVD & Stereo. Our 2 bedroom water view apartments have 2 ensuite bathrooms & our 2 & 3 bedroom - double storey Town Houses each have 2 bathrooms. One bathroom in each apartment has a large corner spa + shower. Free off street, carport or secure garage parking available, one car space for each apartment. The apartments are self catering & are fully equipped for a long or short term stay. Our apartments are serviced throughout every 3 days. All apartments are strictly non smoking. |

From the airport there is a shuttle bus that will bring you to Woolmers Inn, Sandy Bay Rd, or to Star Street Sandy Bay, Cost $10.00pp,return ticket $20.00. The airporter bus is parked outside the Qantas terminal, for each flight. Taxi charge,approx $38.00 - $42.00 By car - from the airport, turn left onto the main Highway to Hobart, follow signs to Hobart, over the Tasman Bridge,until you reach Davey Street, follow Davey Street to Sandy Bay Road on your left (St Davids Park is on the corner of Davey St & Sandy Bay Rd ). PLEASE NOTE * - For our 2 bedroom/2 bathroom water view and 1 bedroom spa apartments, follow Sandy Bay Rd through 2 sets of traffic lights, until you come to your third set of lights,turn right at Byron St, take your next left at Fitzroy Place,the second Street on your left is Star Street.Drive to the very end (to the guard rail, Star Street is a no through Street ). Apts on Star & your parking area is on your left, No 22 is a painted brick building. 2 & 3 BEDROOM TOWNHOUSE APARTMENTS *If your reservation is for our two or Three bedroom, double storey Town Houses with spa, although you are at the same location as our other apartments, the entrance to your garage parking is via Jersey Street Sandy Bay. From the corner of Davey Street & Sandy Bay Road, follow Sandy Bay Rd through three sets of trafic lights, the last being Byron St.Turn right at the next Street after Byron St, Queen St, drive a short distance and turn right at the next Street, Jersey St, this is a no through Street, drive to the very end and you will see a painted brick building (APARTMENTS on STAR 11 Jersey St is written in large letters on the building) with two garages facing the Street. A note will be on Apartment No.3 (for 2 BR) or No.4 (for 3 BR) with details of where to collect your key for your apartment & garage. Salamanca Market 8.00 am - 3.00pm each Saturday. Lady Nelson Sailing Ship tours, each weekend aprox cost $12.00pp City Tours - Hobart sights, Mt Wellington & City sights. Cascade Brewery Tours, a ferry cruise around the Derwent River. Cadbury Chocolate tours, by car or ferry. National Trust walking tours of Battery Point or buy a $2.00 trail of Discovery map from & take the same tour at your lesure, with full information about Kelly Steps, Nanny Goat Lane & our beautiful old Battery Point buildings. apartmentson Star is a great base from which to enjoy day trips around the Hobart & Southern Tas region ie enjoy a tour of the Coal River Valley wineries, a walk through the tree tops at the Tahune Airwalk, or enjoy the wilderness & fresh air with a bush walk in the Mt Wellington National Park. |
