| Getting There |
Coochiemudlo Island is one in the group of islands (with MacLeay, Russell, Lamb and Karragarra Islands) dotting the southern part of Moreton Bay. It is approximately 40 kilometres southeast of the Brisbane city centre and 70 kilometres north of the Gold Coast. To get to Coochiemudlo Island, you need to get to the Victoria Point jetty on Masters Avenue, and then take a pleasant 10 minute ferry or barge ride across the bay to the island. Ferry service is at 30 minute intervals daily from as early as 5:00am off the Coochie Jetty and as late as 11:30pm off the Victoria Point Jetty. „X Fares are paid on board the vessel and costs $3.40 per ride. „X Concession fares are available. However, concession cards must be shown to receive the fare discount. „X Children under 5 yrs travel free and children 5-14 yrs are entitled to concession fares. Daily barge service is available at 40 minute intervals from as early as 6:20am from Coochie and as late as 7:00pm on Fridays from Victoria Point. It is recommended to check Ferry timetables prior to your arrival as these times are subject to change. Barge service is available at $36 for a return trip. Once on Coochiemudlo Island jetty, turn left into Victoria Parade. Seminara Apartments is located on the right hand side, at the end of Victoria Parade. |

Coochiemudlo Island is located between Brisbane and the Gold Coast within the Redland Shire in South East Queensland. This island is part of the majestic Moreton Bay Islands with its shallow beaches and mangroves protecting it from the breakers of the South Pacific.
