Whiterock Leisure Park is a leafy and well established budget priced leisure park ideally located just off the Bruce Highway directly adjacent to the 5 Star Cairns Coconut Holiday Resort, Trinity Links, Cairns Golf Club and the All Season Cairns Gateway Resort. The laid back casual environment surrounding the White Rock Leisure Park makes it a perfect getaway for families and holiday makers alike, seeking a budget priced holiday. There is a fully stocked mini mart on-site to cater for any essentials that you may require during your stay with us. This includes a LP Gas re filling facility along with the sale of ice creams, cold drinks, frozen meals, ice and alike. A cosy in ground swimming pool is centrally located and adjoins a large undercover BBQ area and fully self-contained camp kitchen with television, cooking and fridge facilities. A fully automated 24 hour coin laundry with modern washing machines and clothes dryers is available for use by guests during their stay. When using the Cairns City Southern Access Road, White Rock Leisure Park is a leisurely 10 Minutes Drive South from the City Heart, Cairns Convention Centre and Esplanade Lagoon Precinct. Whiterock Leisure Park is one of the most preferred and recommended budget leisure properties in the region. White Rock Leisure Park offers peaceful and tranquil surroundings, whilst only being a short 8km distance from the Cairns Business District, and therefore being the choice of many international and domestic budget minded travelers. Most local day tour companies pick up and drop off daily at our doorstep. All day tours and trips can be booked directly from our on-site Tour Desk at your leisure and at no extra charge and a courtesy free pick-up and drop-off will be arranged for your convenience should you require. Check out is to occur by 10am daily unless otherwise arranged with management. TYPES OF BUDGET ACCOMMODATION We offer a myriad of different types of villas, new cabins, budget units, camp cabins, powered caravan sites and shady camp sites. The wide choices of accommodation available at White Rock Leisure Park are designed to cater to all types of budget minded travellers. All types of Accommodation includes full linen and towels. All villas are fully air conditioned & have their own private ensuites with kitchens, fridge, microwave & cooktops with shady Private patios. Parking is roomside. All Cabins are brand new and offer incredible value for money for all types of travellers. Features include, air conditioning, security screens, in room safes, mini kitchens, comfy double lounge suites and most have private in room ensuites unless otherwise mentioned. Our facilities ensure that all guests have a comfortable and affordable stay, our well renowned reputation in this regard is highly valued. All Daily Room Rates are for 2 persons unless otherwise mentioned. Extra persons over 12 years using existing bedding are an additional $20 per night. Children over 2 years up to 12 years using existing bedding are an additional $10 per night. Infant cots as required are an additional $10 per night. If roll-away beds are requested for guests of any age in addition to the existing bedding already provided in the room an additional $50 per night for each roll-away bed will apply. When using the Cairns City Southern Access Road, White Rock Leisure Park is a leisurely 10 minutes drive South from the City Heart, Cairns Convention Centre and Esplanade Lagoon Precinct. Whiterock Lesiure Park is located approx 8km away from the hustle and bustle of the City CBD but still convenient for all shopping and day tours. FROM THE NORTH OR AIRPORT BY CAR If you are coming into Cairns from the North, follow the road signs to Innisfail or Townsville and you will pass through Cairns heading South. We are located just out of town approx. 8km on the left off the Bruce Highway. To find us turn left at the Anderson Road lights intersection and then turn right into Skull Road at the roundabout. Make sure you are in the left hand lane as you head South and turn left at the Anderson Road lights. We are about 200 meters up on the right hand side of Skull Road just past the roundabout. FROM THE SOUTH BY CAR If you are coming from the South we are easy to find. As you near Cairns you will pass through the outlying suburbs of Edmonton, Bentley Park and Forest Gardens. Forest Gardens puts you approximately 1km South of the Leisure Park. Keep travelling along the main Bruce Highway. Ensure you keep to the right lane. Our large yellow sign on the right is at the beginning of our 300 meter highway frontage. Turn right at the lights into Anderson Road. Our entrance is about 200 metres up on the right on Skull Road just past the roundabout. By Taxi - please just tell the driver - we have been in Cairns over 40 years and are well known! By Bus and Train. We suggest you take a taxi to the Leisure Park. It will take approximately 10 minutes from town to get to us and cost around $18.00. From the airport. Please take a taxi. It will take approximately 20 to 25 minutes from the airport and cost around $38.00. |

Some of the activities and day tours that can be organised at the on-site tour desk include: Bushwalking, Great Barrier Reef tours, Cairns Highlands and Atherton Tableland tours, Bungee Jumping, Tropical Rainforest exploring, reef diving and snorkelling, fishing, crabbing, touring and sightseeing, Tjapukai Aboriginal Park adventures, Skyrail, Kuranda Scenic Train, Kuranda Township and market days, White Water Rafting, exciting hot air ballooning, the ever famous Daintree, Port Douglas, Mossman, Cape Tribulation, Cooktown, Paronella Park and much much more! As the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef, Cairns's core attractions revolve around the Water activities. Daily dive trips for the novice to the professionals leave from the Marina early morning. Deep sea fishing and cruise charters are also readily available along with parasailing, water skiing, sea kayaks and small water craft activities. But for those land lovers a favorite attraction is the world renowned famous Skyrail Rainforest Cableway and the Kuranda Scenic Railway where one can take their time to explore the bustling Kuranda township. Favorites include a walk through the rainforest, photo stop at the Barron River Gorge and make sure you leave plenty of time to stroll through the markets with their myriad delights of local food, produce, art, crafts and clothing. Tour Operators are abundant and obliging as there are in excess of 600 city and outbound activities available daily. Every type of activity is on offer from adrenalin activities like white water rafting to bungee jumping and four wheel drive tours to the more sedate river cruises and rainforest walks. For those that like to get airborne, seaplanes, helicopters and hot air ballooning are the way to go. World class golf courses and Cairns's Northern Beaches are located approximately 15 minutes drive from the hotel.
