Riverfront Motel & Villas has the major advantage of being within a 15 minute radius of Hobart’s top attractions: the City Centre (10 km), Battery Point, Salamanca Place, Wrest Point Casino and within a few minutes drive from Moorilla Winery and the Museum of New & Modern Art (MONA - opening early 2010), Cadbury Chocolate Factory and the Derwent Entertainment Centre. Riverfront Motel & Villas consists of various styles of accommodation from great value Budget rooms rooms, fantastic Riverview rooms, 1 and 2 Bedroom Self Contained Villas and we even have 3 large houses (3,4 & 5 bedroom). All situated on the banks of the Derwent River at Rosetta with Mt Wellington as a backdrop. Riverfront Motel & Villas is a large estate with 65 rooms/villas in total. Spoil yourself at our superb Restaurant & Bar open 7 days for breakfast & dinner. Reservations for dinner are recommended as the locals tend to book us out fast, especially on Friday and Saturday nights. | Getting There |
If travelling North from Hobart City proceed through two sets of traffic lights at the showgrounds and racecourse continue on for 2kms keeping in left hand lane, we have a large sign on freeway exiting you left, then right. Proceed through via duct turning right and 400 metres to our entrance. Travelling South towards Hobart you will notice William Adams Caterpillar Tractors, keep in left hand lane and follow our signage - Riverfront Motel & Villas. This left hand turn is about 5 minutes after the Bridgewater Bridge, before Rosetta High School and the Derwent Entertainment Centre. |
