The Rose Cottage is small and intimate, specialising in sumptuous breakfasts and comfortable beds, each room crammed full of interesting bits and pieces. The Rose Cottage is very centrally located, just one block from the historic town centre. Four rooms, each with an ensuite, one room with full bathroom and two person spa, all decorated with the romantic in mind – brass and iron beds (with modern mattresses and bases), antique and just old, interesting furniture. Each room has a covered outdoor sitting area from which to sit and read or to view the charming garden. The Rose Cottage has a guest sitting room and we cook and serve breakfast in the breakfast room. The B&B has ducted reverse-cycle air conditioning and a wood burning heater in the sitting room. Each room has TV/DVD, tea/coffee facilities and a large library of DVDs is available in the sitting room. Victoria Rose is a very elegant, fully self-contained two storey home, Circa 2000 but could be mistaken for Circa 1880 which is also decorated in the Victorian style with all the modern touches. It is situated on the same property, but has a different street frontage. Victoria Rose can accommodate from two to five people. It offers two bedrooms, two bathrooms (one with spa), fully equipped kitchen with everything on hand to make your stay comfortable and memorable. Antiques and things just old abound, mostly purchased locally and to satisfy a collection addiction. Victoria Rose has evaporative cooling and ceiling fans throughout for the Summer and a wood burning heater for the cooler months, TV/DVD, tea/coffee facilities and provisions for fully cooked breakfasts are included. |

Fully s/c 2 bedroom cottage. Upstairs bedroom, queen & single bed with ensuite & lounge room. Downstairs b/room queen bed, separate bathroom with spa bath & walk in shower, sitting room, fully equipped kitchen. B/fast provided. Rates are for 2 people. Extra adults $65.00. Lyn and Tony live on-site. Enter the front gate, press the doorbell and one of us will be there to greet. Latecomers need to ring and arrangements will be made for key collection. Victoria Rose key needs to be picked up from The Rose Cottage. |

| Getting There |
From Melbourne turn left at the roundabout and from Sydney turn right at the roundabout in the main street (cnr Ford and Camp Streets) into Camp Street – go down one block and you will see an old Church on the next corner (Cnr Camp and Loch Streets) on the right and we are next door to the Church at 42 Camp St. Upon checking in guests who are staying in Victoria Rose then turn left into Loch Street, past the Church and the next building which used to be the Church hall then pull into the driveway at 15B Loch St. |
| Parking |
The Rose Cottage has limited off-street parking (driveway). Most people park at the front in the street – Beechworth is very safe. Victoria Rose has under-cover parking attached to the cottage at the front entrance – 15B Loch Street. |
| Things To Do |
We are very centrally located – one block from the historic town centre. Walk to restaurants, hotels, shopping, Historic Precinct, visitor information centre. For the cyclists – close to the rail trail. For the walkers - there are great walks – a few minutes to Lake Sambell and the Chinese Gardens, down the road to the Gorge Walk which comes out at the Newtown Bridge end of town etc. Short drive to several local wineries and other towns which make up the historic district of Indigo Shire. |
