We welcome you to Perth's finest tourist caravan park. This 4 star tourist park is set on 17 picturesque acres surrounded by a splendid array of Western Australian wildflowers and native birds. Come to this tranquil traveller's paradise and experience the very best in camping, caravanning, cabin and chalet accommodation.

Our accommodation ranges from the more conventional style 1 to 3 bedroom fully self-contained chalets to the open planned Cabin Ensuite. All accommodation features ensuites, reverse cycle air conditioners, linen, kitchenettes, televisions and dvd player to accommodate 2 to 8 people.

For those great Aussie adventurers with caravans, motorhomes, campers or tents you will feel right at home. Whether it be in one of our private ensuite sites, concrete/paved powered sites or lush grass camp sites.

Just imagine relaxing in this wildflower and wildlife retreat enjoying Western Australian fine wines from the Swan Valley, which is only 10 minutes away. Feel like you are in the country when you are only 18km from the centre of Perth and 10 minutes from both the Domestic and International Airports.

Business facilities
Banksia has a first class camp kitchen and recreation room which is great for large groups to gather together. There are pleanty of tables and chairs and the internet kiosk.

Check In Instructions All guests must report to Reception prior to checking in. Check in time is after 2pm. For those customers that arrive after 5.00pm to 9.30pm we have a night bell outside the door at reception. Checkins later than this must be arranged prior with mgt.

Getting There Banksia Tourist Park is set on seventeen picturesque rural acres on the base of the Gooseberry Hill National Park. The quiet and carefree estate is only a minute away from the Zig Zag scenic drive and walk trail.

For those travelling from overseas or interstate, the Perth International and Domestic Airports are only 10 minutes away. If you would like to check out bus and train timetables in and around Perth, you can check out Transperth or our friendly staff will give you a copy of the timetable and show you the right bus and train to make your journey hassle free.

Banksia is conveniently located with a couple of major shopping centres nearby, Midland Gate or Westfield Cannington. All major retail outlets are nestled in these two huge shopping centres and easily accessible by bus, which stops at our front door.

Domestic Airport: is only 8km west of the park located just off Great Eastern Hwy (Hwy 95). There are plenty of taxis waiting on your arrival and the approximate fare is $15 -$20. If you are hiring a car you need to follow Brearley Avenue out of the airport towards Great Eastern Hwy until you come to a set of lights. Turn right at the lights and travel along Great Eastern Hwy for approximately 3km until you come to Great Eastern Hwy Bypass which you need to via right. Your next set of lights is Kalamunda Road which you need to turn right. Follow the past two sets of lights until you pass the Hillview Golf Course and turn left unto Midland Road. Travel approximately 700 meters from this intersection and exit left into Midland Road. The Park is located 2km down on your left.

International Airport: is only 8km west from the park located just off Tonkin Hwy (Hwy 4). There are plenty of taxis waiting on your arrival and the approximate fare is $15-$20. If you are hiring a car you need to follow Horrie Miller Drive out of the airport towards Tonkin Hwy until you come to the first set of lights. Turn left at the lights and travel along Tonkin Hwy for approximately 2km until you come to Roe Hwy which you need to via left up the ramp and head towards Midland. Your second set of lights is Kalamunda Road which you need to turn right.
Travel approximately 700 meters from this intersection and exit left into Midland Road. The Park is located 2km down on your left.

By Car: If you are travelling from the East then you will be coming down Great Eastern Highway (Hwy 94) towards the City of Perth. Turn left into Roe Hwy (Hwy 3) at the bottom of the hill. Travel south for approximately 5km until you come to the second set of traffic lights and exit left into Kalamunda Road. Travel approximately 700 meters from this intersection and exit left into Midland Road. The Park is located 2km down on your left.

If you are travelling north on the Albany Highway (Hwy 30) towards the City of Perth. Turn right into Tonkin Hwy (Hwy 4). Travel north along the Tonkin Hwy approximately 10kms until you come to the Roe Hwy (Hwy 3) exit. Turn right into Roe Hwy going towards Midland and your third set of lights turn right into Kalamunda Road. Travel approximately 700 meters from this intersection and exit left into Midland Road. The Park is located 2kms down on your left.

If you are travelling north along the Kwinana Freeway from Mandurah towards the City of Perth.

Turn into Leach Hwy (Hwy 7) heading east towards Midland until you come to Tonkin Hwy (Hwy 3) and you turn right. Travel south along the Tonkin Hwy for approximately 3kms until you come to the Roe Hwy (Hwy 3) exit. Turn left into Roe Hwy going towards Midland and your third set of lights turn right into Kalamunda Road. Travel approximately 700 meters from this intersection and exit left into Midland Road. The Park is located 2km down on your left.
Parking All accommodation has parking outside the unit. Chalet parking is not under cover however Cabin parking is covered.
