Charming Country features four detached units each with their own private Yard including outdoor settings and BBQ's. Unit 1 is wheel chair friendly and has an extra large shower with dual function (hand held or free standing). We are also pet friendly as our yards are spacious. We endevour to be an affordable luxury family complex and believe that your comfort is our business we endevour to make your visit with us as comfortable and as memorable as we can our units are fully self-contained allowing our guests to feel they are in a home away from home all units are tastefully furnished with quality furniture,fittings and appliances. 1,2,3 or 4 bedrooms , large lounges, fully equiped kitchens, tea, coffee, sugar, milk, cereal on arrival, all linen supplied. If you are approaching from Melbourne or Western Victoria, the route is well signposted after Geelong. If you are approaching from the East of the state, you may like to consider using the Queenscliffe-Sorrento Ferry from other side of bay, which will avoid the drive through Melbourne. |

There is ample parking available for each unit, ranging from single to double car lock up garages, individual driveways and wide nature strips, there is plenty of room for your cars, boats and Jet Ski's. (please notify Marg of your accommodation needs when booking) |

There are lots of things to do around Portarlington and the Bellarine Peninsula. Here are just a few ideas! -This market is held on the last Sunday of each month - Parks Hall- 9am - 2pm. other local markets: -Ocean Grove market- Kingston park - 1st Sunday of each month - 9am-1pm. -Point Lonsdale market - Primary school- 2nd Sunday of each month - 9am-2pm. -Drysdale market- recreation reserve- every 3rd Sunday of each month-9.30am-1.30pm -Queenscliff market - Lower princess park - Last Sunday of each month- 9am-2pm. -Barwon heads market - Community hall - Each Saturday - 9am-1pm. -Beckley park market - Beckley park geelong - Each Saturday- 8am-1pm. -Belmont market- Belmont common- Each Sunday- 8am-1pm. -Geelong Showgrounds market- Geelong showgrounds- Each Sunday - 8am-2pm The Point Richards Miniature Railway This miniature railway takes passengers over Summer... fun for all the family! Fishing Seasonally, the fishing around the Bellarine Peninsula can be excellent, with good reports of Whiting, Flathead and Snapper in the Bay. Enjoy fishing from the many piers around the Bellarine Peninsula, or charter fishing tours are available nearby. The Queenscliffe Music Festival This festival is held on the last weekend of each November and features top-class Australian and International music acts. The National Celtic Festival This event is held over the Queens Birthday weekend in Portarlington. It features Celtic culture over an exciting three day program.
