Here at The Green House B&B, we pride ourselves in supplying extremely comfortable home-from-home style accommodation. You will find us friendly and accommodating. It is our aim to make your stay with us as pleasant and enjoyable as possible.(AA Spirit of Hospitality Finalists 2012) We are happy to book attractions or restaurants for you and have a good knowledge of the area enabling us to advise you on how to best use the time you have available.

We have three en-suite rooms available,
the Seascape Room, the Upper Deck Room and the Garden Room on the ground floor. Unfortunately, our accomodation is not suitable for children.

The Seascape Room offers a super king bed with quality mattress, ensuite with views over the Coromandel ranges. The bedroom has superb views of the Coromandel harbour.
The Upper Deck Room has a Queen sized bed with quality mattress, ensuite and the added bonus of a private deck overlooking the garden and Coromandel Ranges.

Between these rooms is a guest lounge that has superb views over the Coromandel Harbour and Ranges. Facilities in this lounge include complimentary tea and coffee, glasses and crockery, comfortable leather suite, T.V. with DVD and Video facilities and a good selection of tapes and DVDs, a wide selection of reading material that is available on an exchange basis. A guest computer is available for your use with free internet access and the option of Wi-Fi. The whole top floor of the house is dedicated to the guests and is separate from the owner's accommodation so you will be able to come and go as you please.
Guests in the Queen bedded room with ensuite on the ground floor also have access to and use of the upstairs guest lounge, private garden and deck area.

Continental breakfast is served in the dining area on the ground floor. Timing is flexible according to guests' requirements. Breakfast includes freshly baked bread, a choice of fruit juices, a selection of cereals, home-made yoghurt, a selection of fruit mostly from the owner's garden (The plums are to die for!! So is the Passion fruit), a range of cold meats and cheese together with a choice of jams. Tea or freshly ground coffee as desired. We also offer eggs if you would like a hot option. There is also the option of having breakfast on the deck where the beautiful garden and backdrop of the ranges can be enjoyed.

A short 5 minute stroll takes you into the main centre of Coromandel Town where you will find an enviable choice of restaurants and cafes serving a mouth watering array of meals of superb quality. The town also boasts a good selection of art and craft galleries, a hardware store that sells absolutely anything you could possibly want and a range of other shops for you to have a look.
We now are able to offer a couple of mountain bike for you to get around on if you are feeling particularly fit. A good option if you are coming over on the ferry from Auckland.

Getting There If you are approaching Coromandel Town from Thames along the coastal Highway 25 and you will find us on the right as you approach the town. We are approx. 50m before the turning for Whitianga and the first house on the right after the 50km speed sign. If you pass the fire and ambulance station, you have just missed us!!

If approaching from Whitiangaon Highway 25, as you decend from the top of the ranges, you will come to a T-junction. Turn left as if to drive to Thames and we are the second house on the left.

There is a ferry service from Auckland which docks at Te Kouma where a shuttle bus will drop you at the B&B. Return travel requires you to meet the bus in the centre of town to take you to the ferry terminal.
