The elegant Georgian Hackness Grange Country House, lies at the heart of the dramatic North Yorkshire Moors National Park, 533 square miles of glorious countryside with rolling moorland and majestic forests. Set in acres of private grounds, overlooking our tranquil lake home to many species of wildlife. Hackness Grange is a haven of peace and quiet for our guests. There are twenty eight bedrooms, all with private bathroom, colour television, direct dial telephone and welcome refreshments tray, situated in the main house and the elegant courtyard, ten of which are ground floor rooms. The elegant Lounge and Cocktail Bar with a welcoming log fire, is an ideal place to enjoy afternoon tea or an aperitif before dinner. The Derwent Restaurant, overlooking the lake, offers a fine choice of quality English Cuisine and a wide range of wines. Guests staying at this Eighteenth Century classically English Manor House, can enjoy a nine hole pitch `n putt golf course, and an outdoor en tout cas tennis court. There is a large indoor heated swimming pool with an attractive sun lounge area where you can enjoy quiet relaxation. |

Business FacilitiesWe have two Conference Rooms the Derwent and the Upper Lounge capable of accommodating up to 30 delegates in boardroom style or 60 in theatre style. We can also arrange for private dining and organise leisure activities such as horse riding to off-road driving and clay pigeon shooting and archery locally. |

Follow the A64 from York to Scarborough, turn left to Seamer onto the B1261. At the roundabout in Seamer follow the B1261 to East Ayton and then take the first right to Hackness Village. The Hotel is on the left after about 4 miles. From the North follow the A171 to Burniston on the outskirts of Scarborough. Take the right hand turn signposted Forge Valley/Hackness and the Hotel is through the village on the left after about 4 miles. There is ample free car parking at Hackness Grange. |
