| Getting There |
BY CAR - Heading South from the City of Sydney (approximately 25 kms): Follow the signs for 'Wollongong' along Princes Highway, cross over 'Tom Ugly's Bridge' and travel for a further 10 minutes. The Abcot Inn is located on the left hand side between 'Box Road' and 'Bates Drive'. (Please be aware that there is another location with a street address '410 Princes Highway' but it is situated in a different suburb just before the bridge. There is a private house on that address and it should not be confused with the Abcot Inn. Look for the sign as shown on our photos) BY CAR - Heading North Towards Sydney City: After getting off the F6 Freeway follow the signs for the airport along the Princes Hwy. In Sutherland the highway makes a 90 degree right hand turn which you should follow and keep going for another 3 km. The Abcot Inn is located between 'Bates Drive' and 'Box Road' and will be on your right hand side. You won't be able to turn into the driveway from your side of the highway, so we recommend taking a right turn at the intersection with 'Box Road' and make a U-turn in the little streets there. BY TAXI: From Sydney Airport the tariff is approximately $40.00. BY TRAIN: The Cronulla Line travels from Bondi Junction through to Cronulla. If stopping at Gymea Railway Station, the Abcot Inn is approximately a 30 minute walk or 10 minutes by taxi. Alternatively, Sutherland Railway is a major stop and by taxi from this station travelling time would be approximately 15 minutes at a cost of $15.00. |
