Directions To/From Hwy 427 Lester B. Pearson International Airport (18 miles): Take the 427 Southbound. Get into the center lane as soon as possible as the right lane tends to lead to the exit (continue to keep in the centre lane as the right lanes exit or disappear). Follow the sign for Toronto on the QEW Eastbound. As you near Toronto, QEW becomes the Gardiner Express Way. From Gardiner, take Bay Street Exit and go Northbound. Continue Northbound on Bay Street to Bloor Street. Make a left turn on Bloor Street, proceeding Westbound to Bedford Avenue. You will circle the hotel as the best means of entry. Turn right on Bedford Avenue and continue to Prince-Arthur Avenue. Turn right on Avenue Road; the hotel is directly on the right-hand side. Welcome to Park Hyatt Toronto! To/From Toronto City Centre (Island) Airport (3.21 miles/8 minutes): From the airport, turn North onto Bathurst Street toward Queens Quay West and continue for 2.3 miles. Take a right turn onto Bloor Street West/Provincial Route 5 and continue for 0.8 mile. Turn left onto Avenue Road/Provincial Route 5 and continue for 0.1 mile. Turn into the driveway of Park Hyatt Toronto at 4 Avenue Road. To/From Toronto Union Train Station (7 kilometres/10 minutes) From Union Station, go North on Bay Street toward Lake Shore Boulevard West. Continue about 0.1 miles. Take a left onto Lake Shore Boulevard West and continue 0.1 miles. Turn slightly to the right. Turn right onto York Street/Provincial Route 11A and continue 0.2 miles. Niagara Falls More than 14 million tourists visit the Canadian side of the falls each year, and numerous tours are available from Toronto. After about an hour-long drive, you can board the famous Maid of the Mist to journey near the mouth of Niagara Falls for the best possible view. Colborne Lodge This rare Regency picturesque cottage is a graceful monument to John and Jemima Howard, the couple who founded High Park. John Howard, one of Toronto’s first architects as well as a City Engineer and Surveyor, built Colborne Lodge in 1837 which still contains many original furnishings, artifacts and some of his own watercolours depicting images of early Toronto. Fort York This base was established by Lt. Gov. John Graves Simcoe in 1793 to defend "little muddy York," as Toronto was then known. Today, Fort York is home to Canada's largest collection of original War of 1812 buildings. Located less than four miles from Park Hyatt Toronto, the Fort is open year round and offers a number of services, including tours, exhibits, period room settings and seasonal demonstrations. Mackenzie House Situated in downtown Toronto, Mackenzie House is a Greek Revival row-house, which was purchased by the community for Mackenzie who was the first Mayor of Toronto, an outspoken newspaper editor and leader of the 1837 Upper Canada Rebellion.
