London Heathrow Airport (LHR): Approximate driving time to Hallam Hotel is 40 minutes and distance is 28 kilometres (17 miles). Getting there: The Heathrow Express train service to London Paddington Station leaves every 15 minutes. The airport is also on the Underground’s Piccadilly Line; guests should change at Green Park station for the Victoria Line, which stops at Oxford Circus underground station, 250 metres from the hotel. London's black taxi cabs also service Heathrow Airport and cost around £40 to the hotel. Bus services include the Airbus Heathrow shuttle to London Victoria or King's Cross railway stations. London Gatwick Airport (LGW): Approximate driving time is 76 minutes and distance is 58 miles (93 kilometres). The Gatwick Express train service runs to London Victoria Station, where passengers can take the Underground’s Victoria Line to Oxford Circus station. Flight link coaches run to London Victoria Station and depart from the ground floor of the South Terminal. Driving directions: From Heathrow airport, follow the M4 until it becomes the A4, and then head for the West End and Oxford Circus. Getting around: The easiest way to get around London is by using the Underground (metro) or bus services. Alternatively, black taxi cabs can be hailed in the street. |
