Bifrons House is an old mansion converted into 6 self contained apartments. Total area with verandah of each apartment is approx 140 square metres. Bifrons House sits on approx three quarters of an acre, 5 minutes from the city centre. Walking distance to CBD and parks. Restaurants close by. Elegantly furnished with beautiful cornices and marble fire surround. There are two bedrooms each with one queen size bed. The apartments are fully self contained. The original part of Bifrons House was built in the 1830s, and the first floor was added in 1874. Bifrons House is registered with the National Trust and Heritage Trust. This grand old building was twice the scene of a bushranger raid in the 1800s. Please note - Bifrons House is not attended all the time.
