Freycinet Lodge is Tasmania's premier environmentally friendly resort. Situated inside Freycinet National Park, just one hour's walk to spectacular Wineglass Bay, the Lodge has won many awards. The property has 60 beautifully appointed cabins, all in a secluded bushland setting. The cabins are telephone and television free to ensure complete relaxtion. The main lodge overlooks Great Oyster Bay and includes two restaurants, bar, lounge and conference areas. It is an ideal location for rejuvenation and the enjoyment of natural activities, either privately, or with the assistance of qualified guides. Leisure activities include bushwalking, star gazing, bird-watching, abseiling, four wheel bike and four wheel drive vehicle tours, kayaking, boat cruises and scenic flights. |

Ideal for families. These cabins can sleep a couple and two singles or 3 singles. The main room features the lounge area as well as the main bedroom. Freycinet Lodge is situated in Freycinet National Park. Park fees are payable at the park entrance or may be obtained from reception at the Lodge. Cost $24 per car per day. |

| Getting There |
Freycinet Lodge is located in the Freycinet National Park, approximately 2 kilometres from the park entrance. Two and a half hours' drive from Hobart or Launceston. From Launceston take the Midland Hwy (A1) to Campbell Town, turn left onto the Lake Leake Hwy (B34), then left again onto the Tasman Hwy (A3). A spectacular view of 'The Hazards' on Freycinet Peninsula can be seen from a lookout just north of this junction. About 15-20 minutes past the junction, turn right onto Coles Bay Road (C302). Travel through Coles Bay to reach the entrance to Freycinet National Park. From Hobart take the Tasman Hwy (A3) through Sorell, Triabunna and Swansea. Spectacular views of the Freycinet Peninsula can be seen all along the coast just south of Swansea and again from a lookout north of Swansea. About 15-20 minutes past the junction, turn right onto Coles Bay Road (C302). Travel through Coles Bay to reach the entrance to Freycinet National Park. |

Freycinet Lodge resort provides - guided walks to Wineglass Bay and lookout, history and nature strolls, bushtucker strolls, wine tasting sessions, orientation, star gazing, wine tasting, bird-watching, four wheel drive tours, slide presentation, nocturnal animal spotting, guided tours to Sleepy Bay. Activities in the area - kayaking, abseiling, four wheel motorbikes, penguin tours, peninsular cruises and fishing, marine oyster farm tours, country golf club, National Parks Intrepretation/Visitors centre, scenic flights and vineyards. |
