Situated on the banks of the legendary Tongariro River, on 22 acres of parklike grounds at the Southern end of Lake Taupo, this luxurious lodge offers old fashioned comfort and style with friendly personal service. Each chalet has private facilities and its own sunny terrace. There is a secluded spa pool and all weather tennis court. The true atmosphere of the Lodge is experienced over the evening meal as the day's activities are recalled. Established in 1982 Tongariro Lodge offers a unique fishing lodge atmosphere and has an excellent international reputation for providing guests with intimate friendly service, the best of food and wine and private exclusive accommodation. Tongariro Lodge enjoys private access to large areas of wilderness close by. Situated on the banks of the Tongariro River & the Southern shores of Lake Taupo. This Luxury 3 bedroom Chalet is fully self contained, very private and surrounded by 22 acres of park like grounds. Stay at New Zealand’s most iconic trout fishing lodge. Rates are for 2 people. Extra adults $100.00. Extra children $50.00. The room caters for a maximum of 6 adults, and a maximum of 4 children but cannot exceed 6 guests in total. Available bedding configurations:

From Taupo Airport by car is approximately 30 minutes drive. The Lodge is situated at the Southern end of Lake Taupo, just 30 minutes from the ski feilds. From Rotorua Airport by car is approximately 1 3/4 hour drive. From Auckland/Wellington Airports by car takes approximately 4 hours drive. |
