Situated on the banks of the legendary Tongariro River, on 22 acres of park like grounds at the Southern end of Lake Taupo, this luxurious lodge offers old fashioned comfort and style with friendly personal service. There is a secluded spa pool and all weather tennis court. The true atmosphere of the Lodge is experienced over the evening meal as the day's activities are recalled.

Established in 1982 Tongariro Lodge offers a unique fishing lodge atmosphere and has an excellent international reputation for providing guests with intimate friendly service, the best of food and wine and private exclusive accommodation.
Tongariro Lodge enjoys private access to large areas of wilderness close by. The lodge specializes in designing guests a personally guided trout fishing or outdoor experience tailored to the clients wishes and employs only the best and experienced guides, which provide an authentic feel for the local land, its people and way of life.

Getting There	From Taupo Airport by car is approximately 30 minutes drive. The Lodge is situated at the Southern end of Lake Taupo, just 30 minutes from the ski fields. From Rotorua Airport by car is approximately 1 3/4 hour drive. From Auckland/Wellington Airports by car takes approximately 4 hours drive.
