Rubyanna Rise is a traditional bed and breakfast, just 470m off Bargara Road set high on a cane farm overlooking tropical gardens and the lush panorama of patchwork canefields. We are conveniently located just 5 minutes to both beautiful Bargara Beach and Bundaberg and the closest accomodation to both the Bundy Rum Distillery and Bundaberg Ginger Beer Factory. The turtle rookery at Mon Repos, Bundaberg Port Marina, Burnett Heads and several great swimming beaches are all only a 5 minute drive away. Rubyanna Rise has 3 unique rooms to offer the discerning traveller. Our Master Bedroom, the Fairymead Room, boasts a luxurious bedroom with enclosed sunroom, dressing room and ensuite and opens onto a private verandah with magnificent views. This room can also include 2 extra single beds on request. Our Family Suite, the Qunaba Room, is a spacious 2 room suite with a family bathroom and separate toilet. This suite has an option of another inter-connecting room, the Mon Repos Room, with a queen bed. All rooms open onto the private upstairs verandah with table and chairs. This suite is ideal for large family groups of up to 10, offering multiple options for double and single configurations at a very competitive rate. The Millaquin Room is our downstairs pet friendly ensuited room with a large kennel outside your window and offers easy access to the gardens and pool All rooms have their own fridge, tea and coffee facilities, microwave, toaster, LCD TV, iron, hair dryer and are airconditioned. All prices includes a great breakfast with continental or full cooked breakfast available. If you want a change as Margaret to make homemade pancakes. Brian and Margaret are lifetime locals and can help you with your sightseeing around Bundaberg and can also book you tours to the Great Barrier Reef including Lady Musgrave and Lady Elliott Islands. We can also assist you with tours to the Bundy Rum Distillery and Bert Hinkler Hall of Aviation and of course the tours to watch the turtles laying and hatching at Mon Repos Turtle Rookery. We also have a guest lounge with bar facilities, off the games room featuring a full size billiard table. This room is on the ground floor and overlooks the pool. If you would like something to read please choose from the small selection available. Mastercard and Visa facility is available. We offer complimentary transfers to all transport terminals. Well behaved children and pets are welcome at Rubyanna Rise. We do ask that pets be vaccinated and flea treated before arrival. |

Millaquin room is our pet friendly or overnight travellers budget ground floor room with a new queen bed and ensuite. It has a lge kennel outside your window with easy access to pet & gardens. Mon Repos room can be used as an inter-connecting room to the Qunaba Suite. It can also be used separately with shared facilities. Reception hours are from 4.00pm to 8.00pm. If arriving outside reception hours you must contact Rubyanna Rise to arrange your check in. You are welcome to check in early if the room is available but we do have an aircon surcharge. |

| Getting There |
Whether arriving from the north or the south, we suggest that you make your way to the CBD first. Follow the road signs to Bargara. Once on Bargara Road look to the left for the blue B&B sign on Presslers Rd, just as the sugar cane fields begins(6kms from CBD). The property is just 470m from Bargara Rd bus service. |

On site bitumen car parks are provided. There is also access to one undercover car park and one lock up garage. The undercover car park and lock up garage's availability cannot be guaranteed. You may make a request with your booking in the comments section. |
| Things To Do |
We are ideally located in a central position for you to go on a range of tours, the Bundaberg Rum Distillery tour, Mon Repos Turtle Rookery tours or Bundaberg Ginger Beer tours. You may even wish to go on a Lady Elliott Island day tours or Lady Musgrave Island tours from 1770! We can arrange a pick up from us to 1770 for the Lady Musgrave Island Tour. You might enjoy a walk at the Baldwin Swamp and do a bit of bird watching. Have a swim in the pool or a game of billiards on the full size table. The beaches are also close by for stinger free safe swimming,surfing, snorkelling and diving. Some local attractions may be of interest, Bert Hinkler(the first person to fly solo from England to Australia in 1928) Hall of Aviation and Hinkler House, Sugarcane and Kanaka Museum or The Hummock. There are three golf courses close by and great dining optiions. |
