Welcome to Captain Cook Motor Lodge which opened in 2004 and is located across the road from the beautiful Waikanae Beach. Captain Cook Motor Lodge is only a 5 minute stroll to the town centre where you will find great dining and bar options available. The property has 21 ground floor rooms with a choice of studio rooms, some with spa baths, one and two bedroom units. We also have access units with inter-connecting doors to adjacent studio room. All rooms have cooking facilities and are serviced daily. Captains Gallery our onsite restaurant is open for breakfast daily and evening dining is available from Monday to Thursday only. Charge back facilities are available with selected city restaurants. Our Conference room adjoins the dining room and is ideal for meetings of up to 30 (Conference style) or 14 people (Boardroom style). Other facilities include guest laundry, children’s playground with swings, trampoline and our very new JUMPING PILLOW to keep the kids entertained. And for all wine lovers, don’t forget that this region is renowned for its mouth watering Chardonnays. |

Sky TV, Kitchen facilities include Fridge/Freezer, 2 plate Ceramic hob, Microwave, Toaster and Tea and Coffee making facilities. Sunny rear patio area. Rates are for 2 people. Extra adults $15.00. Extra children $15.00. The room caters for a maximum of 5 adults, and a maximum of 3 children but cannot exceed 5 guests in total. The following bedding is provided:

The main route to Gisborne is via State Highway 2 from either north or south. Travel along Gladstone Road which is the main street and then turn right in to Grey Street and then left in to Awapuni Road. Captain Cook Motor Lodge is just 100 metres on your left. |
