| Getting There |
The beauty of Rockhampton is that you are not far away from any of the major transport terminals. Motel 98 is located on the South side of the Fitroy River, the same side as the railway station, bus & airport terminals. A minimal taxi fare would cover the trip. Driving by car, turn off into Bolsover St & then Cambridge St at all times heading for the river. The road that runs along the river is Victoria Parade & we are no 98. We are right next door to the Rockhampton Bowling Club. |

Rockhampton on the Fitzroy River is a city well worth exploring for its attractions. A centre which to visit the Capricorn Coast along the shore of the Keppel Bay Region where Captain Cook anchored on his way north. The Gem fields & the coal mining areas of the west. Not to mention the minig history of Mt Morgan which is only a short driving distance from Rockhampton. Rockhampton is now different things to different people.
