Abs by the Bay offers self-contained and motel style units, all with their own bathrooms that are beautifully fitted out. Set in attractive gardens with access to a little beach in front of the units, we are just 10 minutes to the Port Arthur historical site and many local attractions and restaurants. Taranna is the perfect place to relax, unwind and experience what the Peninsula has to offer. Take a scenic walk through one of the spectacular coastal or National Park walking tracks or for a more adventurous getaway, check out some of the sea life charters, a Tassie devil encounter or be daring and book an Historic Ghost tour. Go horse riding, play a round of golf or just go fishing from a nearby jetty. |

The Deck
Two bedroom self-contained unit with queen bed and two king singles, large living/kitchen area, one bathroom and deck with BBQ. Fold down bed or cot available for fifth person Rates are for 2 people. Extra adults $25.00. Extra children $25.00. The room caters for a maximum of 4 adults, and a maximum of 3 children but cannot exceed 5 guests in total. Available bedding configurations:

| Getting There |
We are on the A9 (Athur Highway) 90km south of Hobart and 10km north of Port Arthur at Taranna. Taranna is between Eaglehawk Neck and Port Arthur. From the Hobart Airport follow the Tasman Highway (A3) to Sorell, then the Arthur Highway (A9) to Taranna. We are located on the right hand side (waterside) of highway. It is well sign posted. |

Scuba and deep sea diving. Enjoy fishing on the nearby jetties. Walk one of the pristine beaches on the Peninsula. Dine out at one of our local restaurants. Enjoy relaxing in the garden by the bay with a glass of wine or a BBQ on the deck/courtyard outside your room. |
