Renovated in 2003,contemporary lodge style accommodation with a Nordic feel, offering standard and mountain view king/twin rooms, two bedroom rooms (accommodating up to 4 people), and three bedroom rooms (accommodating up to 6 people), some with mountain views. Close to chairlifts, restaurants, nightlife and overnight parking. There is a 'Cook Your Own Grill' style of restaurant and the bar is a cosy, friendly place to unwind at the end of the day. There is a gas fireplace and 2 large screen plasma TV's, and offers an extensive selection of wines, bottled beers and schnapps. Carlton, Coopers Pale and Lowenbrau beers are sold on tap. |

| Getting There |
Thredbo Village is approximately a 5½ hour drive from Sydney or 2½ hour drive from Canberra. Coach transport is available during the winter months with a limited service in summer. By car: Thredbo is five or six hours drive from Sydney, and seven hours from Melbourne. By air: The nearest commercial airport is at Cooma, 85 km from Thredbo. Cooma Airport is served by Rex Regional Airlines. Transfers or car hire are available from Cooma Airport. By bus: Summit Coaches operates a coach service from Sydney to Thredbo via Canberra. |
| Parking |
There is no onsite parking at the lodge. You can drive directly to the lodge to unload your luggage and then park yourcar in one of the four overnight, free of charge, designated parking areas. |
| Things To Do |
Skiing and boarding during winter months, mountain biking, fishing, bush walking, swimming, golf, tennis and bobsled during summer months. There are many other attractions that bring people to visit Thredbo Village outside of the abovementioned activities. In November the annual Snowy Ride, where approximately 3,000 motor bike riders come to the village as a fund raiser for the Children's Cancer Foundation. At the beginning of January there is the Blues Festival, where many well known rock bands and artists come to perform. The country music festival is held in March, with a great line up of australian and international artists. Then in May the Jazz festival brightens up the village, with live music and wine tastings throughout the whole weekend. |
