Surfaris Central is a small motel / backpacker accommodation with five ensuite rooms and seven dorm rooms of either four bunk or six bunk configuration. The property is set on 15 acres of bushland adjacent to the hat head national park. We are ideally situated to a range of isolated beaches suitable for surfing, swimming, fishing or just lazing around. There are a number of great headland walks in the nearby National Parks. The Lodge is set on 15 acres of bushland about 3km North of the small coastal village of Crescent Head, adjacent to the Hat Head National Park. There is a common room and kitchen for guest use, a swimming pool and free wireless internet access. The area boasts many isolated beaches, great National Park Headland walks, rivers for canoeing and the flat road terrain is ideal for bike riding. The motel section has a 3 Star AAA rating, while our backpacker accommodation is self rated 3. ** Please note: This property has some rooms that do not have a private ensuite/bathroom, as indicated in the room type descriptions. ** |

| Getting There |
From Sydney follow the Pacific Highway north until you arrive in Kempsey. Take the Crescent Heads turn off. We are 3km North of the village of Crescent Head on Loftus Road, the road which runs through to Gladstone & S.W. Rocks. Loftus Road is the first road to your left as you enter Crescent Head& is opposite the Wombat Motel. Pickups at the Train or Bus Station at Kempsey or the airport at Port Macquariecan be arranged, F.O.C. minimum 3 night stay in that regard. |

Surfaris Central / Bush ‘n'Beach Motel has a customer base of International youth on learn to surf trips so the Lodge suits active travellers. The area boasts a wide range of isolated beaches suitable for surfing or swimming. In addition there are great National Park Headland walks and the MacLeay River & it's tributaries run into S.W. Rocks just a short drive to the North. For the adventurous there is canoeing in the Hat Head Swamp, an extensive waterway nestled in behind the extensive dunal systems to our immediate North. There is a great refurbished pub in nearby Gladstone and Crescent Head just 3klm to the South, boasts a pub, club, headland golf links and a world renowned long board wave on the Point. |
