Iluka Holiday Centre is ideally situated opposite Muirs Beach and only 1km to the world renowned Freycinet National Park and 5km to the walking track to Wineglass Bay, which is rated as one of the world's top 10 beaches. Coles Bay is a popular holiday destination offering great fishing, surfing and safe child friendly beaches as well as numerous bush and beach walks, cruises, kayaking and four wheel bike trails. It’s also just a short drive to local wineries and Bicheno's Penguin tours. Iluka offers a wide range of accommodation options including 2 bedroom fully self-contained units, powered and tent sites and a backpackers hostel. We also have a tavern-bistro, bakery, takeaway and shop onsite. |

2 bedroom fully self-contained unit with water views. Unit features open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area as well as a balcony and carport. TV with VHS/DVD player and electric heating. Rates are for 2 people. Extra adults $20.00. Extra children $15.00. The room caters for a maximum of 4 adults, and a maximum of 4 children but cannot exceed 6 guests in total. From Launceston: We are approximately two hours drive if you follow Midlands Highway to Campbell Town, turn left onto Lake Leake Road and then left again at the East Coast Highway (Tasman Highway). Head north until you see the Coles Bay turnoff on your right (Coles Bay Road). On entering Coles Bay township, take the second street on your right which takes you directly to reception. From Hobart: It’s approximately 2½ hours drive from Hobart following the East Coast Highway (Tasman Highway). You should reach the Coles Bay Road turn off after about 2 hours and 15 minutes, turn right here. On entering Coles Bay township, take the second street on your right which takes you directly to reception. |

Freycinet National Park has walking tracks ranging from the Wineglass Bay Lookout (1 hour return) and Mt Amos (4 hours return) to two day hikes to Cooks Beach and Mt Freycinet, returning via Wineglass Bay Freycinet National Park also runs a summer holiday children's program Fishing, surfing, swimming, beach walks, snorkelling, abseiling Tennis courts and golf course close by Vineyards, boat cruises, 4 wheel bikes, kayaking tours and boat hire Coles Bay is approx 1/2 way down the East Coast so it also makes it an ideal base to visit Bicheno, the Apsley Gorge National Park and the Beautiful Bay of Fires Region |
