At the base of Mt Buffalo and with the Ovens River at the rear of the park, we really are sitting pretty. If you like exercise as well as sitting, the Wangaratta to Bright Rail Trail on our doorstep is ideal for cycling and walking. Mt Buffalo National Park is great for wildlife watching and the nearby snow fields are sensational for skiing. Famous for its Autumn Festival with amazing deciduous tree displays, the whole area is rich with wineries, restaurants and amazing Aussie nature. |

AAA 3½ Star - This modern 2 bedroom cabin is located in a tranquil garden setting. Relax on the verandah and soak up the delightful scenery, or stroll a couple of steps from the front door to gaze up at the iconic Mt Buffalo. BYO linen or linen hire. Rates are for 2 people. Extra adults $10.00. Extra children $10.00. The room caters for a maximum of 6 adults, and a maximum of 5 children but cannot exceed 6 guests in total. The following bedding is provided:

| Getting There |
By car: Take the Great Alpine Road from Wangaratta and travel approximately 65km (50 minutes). Go past Boyntons Winery on your left hand side. Porepunkah Mill Holiday Park is approximately 500 metres past the winery on your right hand side. Bus: V/Line has a daily coach service between Wangaratta and Porepunkah which connects with a train to/from Melbourne. The coach will set down and pick-up passengers from the front entrance to the Porepunkah Mill Holiday Park upon request. (Pick-ups to be notified before 9.30am on day of travel). |

Secure off street parking is available for one vehicle beside each cabin. Additional vehicles may be parked in the off-street visitors car park. |
| Things To Do |
We are situated at the foothills of the famous Mt Buffalo, a favourite with both locals and visitors alike. This beautiful mountain has a variety of activities to suit all seasons; skiing, snow play, bushwalking and abseiling to name but a few. The gorgeous scenery, crystal clear waterfalls and sensational views make this an ideal spot for a day's outing. Other nearby mountains are Mt Hotham, Mt Feathertop and Mt Bogong. For shopping, cafes, restaurants and local history visit the nearby townships of Bright, Mt Beauty, Myrtleford or Beechworth. For the gourmet travellers there are wineries, micro-breweries, the Milawa Cheese factory, olives, mustards and fresh produce available from farm doors, including such delights as berries and asparagus when in season. Local outdoor pursuits include cycling along the rail trail, mountain biking, horseback riding, swimming, fishing, paragliding, microlights, golfing, bushwalking and picnicking. |
