Built in 1865 Goldston House B&B offers centrally located luxury accommodation for both the leisure and business traveler. This family run gem has an air of historical elegance expertly blended with five star luxury. Set in a large, lush private garden guests can retreat from the world and relax. Perfect for a weekend getaway or a haven from a busy day at work. The location of Goldston House is about as good as it gets. Delightfully calm and quite within its walls it is hard to believe we are just two blocks from the Railway in one direction and from the Highway in another, and a pleasant five-minute walk to the CBD and great restaurants. Each of our three stunningly appointed rooms has its own unique style and comes complete with private ensuite bathroom and modern luxuries to make your stay comfortable and indulgent. We have a limited number of rollaway beds and highchairs to accommodate families or groups travelling together so please enquire about how we can best accommodate you. A full gourmet breakfast made to order from a selection of your favourites and is served daily by our resident chef. Baked fresh daily our homemade bread, jams and fruit compotes adorn the breakfast buffet for those looking for a lighter option. |

The Archer Suite has a comfy main bedroom as well as an adjoining private sitting room, with a single bed that can be prepared for use. | Getting There |
Goldston House is just two blocks directly off the Bruce Highway (Hwy1). When driving into Rockhampton from the south turn right at Derby Street (second intersection traffic lights), continue two blocks and turn right again. Goldston House is situated on the corner of Derby and George Streets. When arriving from the North follow the Bruce Highway through Rockhampton until you reach the Derby Street intersection (traffic lights after Coloured Fountain Park) and turn left. Goldston House is seven minutes by car from the Rockhampton Airport. Follow the Major roads from the airport to North Street (straight through the first roundabout). Turn right at Canning Street (Hospital corner at the crest of the hill) and follow Canning Street to the fifth roundabout (Allenstown Plaza Woolworths). This is Derby Street. Turn left and follow this through the traffic lights to cross the highway. The second right is Goldston House. The Rockhampton Railway Terminal is on George Street. Exit via George Street and follow it north for two blocks to find Goldston House on the corner of George and Derby Streets. |
| Parking |
Complimentary, covered, off street parking is provided for all suites, entry is via Derby Street and our circular drive makes for easy departure the next morning. Caravans and oversized vehicles can be accommodated. |
