Wot's a Wot Hotel?

The prices that this hotel is offering are so low that they'd be in trouble with head office if they put their name to it! A Wot Hotel is a secret listing for one of our existing hotel partners who want to give you an unbelievably low price on one of their regular rooms or packages. You'll get the same room, facilities and standard of service as you would if you booked this package elsewhere, but at a price that you won't find anywhere else.

So how do you find out which hotel it is? As soon as you book, you'll receive your normal Wotif.com confirmation with all the hotel details included.

With prices this low, Wot Hotel bookings cannot be changed or cancelled, so please take care to check your dates and all other details before you click the "Pay Now" button.

Things To Do Walk along Beach Road and you'll find everything from Thai handicrafts, jewellery and artwork to sports and beachwear. For international brand name fashions, the Royal Garden Plaza (also on Beach Road and walking distance from Siam Bayshore Resort and Siam Bayview Hotel), has an interesting variety of boutiques, as well as unique shops selling unusual souvenirs. The large discount malls such as Big C at Pattaya Festival Center and Lotus literally sell everything at bargain prices with other specialty shops located in the same complex. For local and international fashion, sportswear and export merchandise at discount prices, visit the Outlet Mall at South Pattaya on Sukhumvit Road.

For local flavour, visit one of the fresh food markets at Central Pattaya or South Pattaya Roads. View the numerous food stalls and Chinese gold shops surrounding the markets.

Stores are usually open until 10.00pm. For shopping at night in a fun, carnival atmosphere, visit the Walking Street (the south section of Beach Road closed to cars at night).

Sightseeing:
Koh Larn & Neighboring Islands
Just a 45 minute tourist/fishing boat ride, or a 15 minute speedboat ride off the shores of Pattaya Bay, Koh Larn is the largest island attraction in Pattaya. Activities include lunching on the beach, water sports, snorkelling or just enjoying the sun and sand. Deep sea fishing can be arranged to neighboring islands, Koh Khrok and Koh Sak. Beyond is Koh Phai, currently under the care of the Royal Thai Navy. Visitors cannot stay overnight, but its pristine deserted beaches are accessible during the day.

Wat Yanasangwararam (Temple)
Wat Yan, as the locals call it, is about 15km from South Pattaya and is the most spacious and charming Buddhist compound in the area. Considered one of the "Great Buddhist Temples of Thailand", it comprises several exquisitely constructed shrines surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens, all centered around a peaceful lake.

Nong Nooch Tropical Garden
15km from South Pattaya, it is considered one of the biggest and most unique botanic gardens in Southeast Asia featuring an amazing variety of palm trees, ferns and orchids. Visit the zoo or enjoy the Thai cultural or elephant shows which run daily.

Wanasin Farm
Experience and participate in true Thai traditions in a very charming setting. Explore the fruit plantation or the floating market, then watch the Thai buffalos at work in the rice fields. After a delicious Thai lunch, enjoy the folk dances or have a traditional Thai wedding arranged for you and your loved one.

Mini Siam
A complex featuring miniature reproductions of major historical sites in Thailand including the ancient capitals of Sukhothai and Ayuthaya, as well as well-known international landmarks such as The Statue of Liberty, The Sydney Opera House and The Eiffel Tower. A go-kart track is also located within the grounds.

Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum
Asia's second museum of its kind features a Motion Master theatre, Lazer Trek adventure and permanent and travelling displays of unbelievable human feats and animal freaks.

Pattaya Elephant Village
This village features trained elephants performing demonstrations of the work their ancestors performed, as well as some fun activities that will have you in awe. Daily shows and elephant rides are a big hit with visitors.

Beyond Pattaya:
Koh Samet Island, Rayong
An hour's drive from Pattaya off the coast of Rayong Province, the island offers beautiful beaches with charming white sand, strange shaped rocks, water sports and diving.

Ban Phe, Rayong
The stopping-off point for the ferry ride to Koh Samet is the charming fishing port of Ban Phe, characterized by narrow streets. Stalls along the main street offer a wide variety of marine produce, souvenirs and trinkets fashioned from shells.

Khao Khiew Open Zoo
About a half hour drive from Pattaya, the attractive drive-through zoo is one of the largest in Asia. View wildlife, safari style, enjoy bird watching at the aviary then visit the Chanta and the waterfall, just 7km down the road.

Sri Racha Tiger Zoo
A half hour drive from Pattaya, observe over 200 tigers in natural surroundings, hold them, feed them, and have a photo taken with the tiger cubs.

Marine Science Museum, Bang Saen
Situated 30km from Pattaya, the museum is home to various species of fish, marine animals and plants. There's also exhibitions featuring oceanographic equipment, fishing gear, shells and underwater archaeology.
