(Golf Views on request) What more could you want?? Access to the Clubhouse also means that it is a short stagger home after a day on course or evening in the bar! Whether you prefer a golf, leisure or family holiday Golf Retreats Torquay allows you the freedom and flexibility to spread out and relax to enjoy your stay however you choose ... and is a welcome relief from hotels accommodation! Golf Information: The most impressive feature of The Sands Torquay is its unique, links style golf course. Designed by former Australian Open winner Stuart Appleby the 18 hole championship standard course winds its way through the undulating land behind the sand dunes of Zeally Bay, taking full advantage of the natural beauty of its surf coast location. Don’t forget your sand wedge – there’s 167 bunkers!! PLEASE NOTE: if you are wanting to play the course, The Sands Torquay is a PRIVATE Golf Club so access is as a Members Guest only. Selected properties do have Golf Membership available. Please advise us at time of booking if you wish to PLAY golf to avoid disappointment. Accommodation: Golf Retreats Torquay offers brand new, architecturally designed 2 & 3 bedroom terrace homes accommodating groups of up to 30 people. Whether you book one or several homes you will enjoy the relaxed environment of Torquay coastal golf course living. Accommodation: All Golf Retreats are fully self contained, spacious and designed to accommodate couples, families and groups alike. Enjoy stylish modern furnishings, large open plan living areas equipped with Plasma TV, DVD & CD players and separate dining area. The fully equipped kitchen offers microwave, oven & dishwasher, fridge/freezer and plenty of beer & wine glasses! Extensive list of local restaurants and takeaway/delivery options for those less inclined to cook. There is also a local bottle shop that delivers!! Self contained laundry and excess storage provided. Linen & Towels provided. Outdoor entertaining can be enjoyed from your open air balconies or terrace as well as the good old Australian BBQ in most properties. Reverse cycle heating/cooling* (* in most homes) Restrictions: Smoking is not permitted inside the house. Pets approved on application. NOTE: We endeavour to secure the best retreat available at the time of your booking.
