Phil and Maureen would like to welcome you to the Swiss Chalet Lodge Motel. We are situated only minutes from the hive of activity in central Paihia. The Swiss Chalet Lodge Motel offers a range of Qualmark 4 star accommodation. The options are 3 studio units with Queen bed that can accommodate 2 persons, 3 studio plus units with Queen bed and a single bed and this unit can sleep 3 persons, 2 family apartments with lovely sea views, Queen bed and twin bed. The family apartment is suitable for up to a maximum of 5 persons. There are also 2 beautiful unique top floor apartment with FABULOUS SEA VIEWS and spa baths that are able to join together to sleep from 2 to 11 people. Contact us for further information. All our spacious apartments/units are fully self contained with cooking hob, microwave and fridge. Bathroom with shower/shub or spa bath, toilet and vanity. Sky TV, DVD, heating, electric blankets, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. All apartments/units have balconies or patios. Our top floor is particularly suitable for Honeymooners, Executives or large groups/families travelling together. We also have baby cots and highchair available. Just leave your car in our undercover car park and walk to the wharf where you can catch a ferry to Russell – the first capital of New Zealand . We have a free experienced booking service for all the fabulous Tours, Island Cruises or fishing charter trips around the Bay Of Islands including swimming with Dolphins, and visiting the very top of New Zealand at Cape Reinga via 90 mile beach. You may like to wander through our shops displaying local art and crafts or just look at the view from one of the many restaurants and cafes that Paihia has to offer. By car from Auckland: Follow state highway 1 into Paihia township, pass the wharf on the right and Bayview Road is 1st turn on the left, our unique motel is hard to miss. By bus: Walk 100mtrs to the north to turn into Bayview Road By Air: Kerikeri airport is 30 minutes North of Paihia. Swiss Chalet staff can arrange transport to the motel from the airport. Please contact hotel directly for transfer arrangements. |
