The Southern Great Barrier Reef is at our doorstep, with day trips to the reef starting from only $150 per person. See how the famous drop is made by taking a Bundaberg Rum Distillery Tour. Visit the birthplace of the famous Bundaberg Rum, see the distilling process and sample of Spirit of Bundaberg. The kids can meet the famous Bundy Bear! Turtle Watching - November to March. See turtles visit nearby Mon Repos Beach, a protected turtle rockery. Ranger guided tours operate nightly. Whale Watching - August to October. Day & half day trips are available to see the humpback whales frolic in Platypus Bay. The area is famous for its golf courses, Bargara Golf Course by the sea, is an 18 hole Championship Course. Coral Cove International is also a very popular course with the experienced players. Contact us if you would like information on our golf packages.
